No matter who owns this restaurant, new owners, new menus it's always a bad experience. I've been there through 4 different owners and every single time service was bad and food wasn't serverd in a timely manner or was undercooked or overcooked. I'm done giving new owners new chances. I'm not sure if their just changing the owners and not the staff, because old staff will continue to do things the same way they always have. When every single visit is your last...it was my last.

New owner and menu. Food is good. Miss the old menu. Unfortunately, it almost double the price of the old owner ?. Won't be going as often as before due to this.

Perfect service, great food and drinks. The menu seems to lean more to seafood than with the previous owners but prices are excellent!!

First time there. Was not a good start due to lack of communication with wait staff. Food was very good. Outside seating is nice. Limited menu. Mostly seafood.

Our toothless waitress was too awesome to write anything down. No mask, that's how I know her tooth situation. We watched her give food to the wrong people. I ordered wings and fried green tomatoes. She comes back and says they have no tomatoes. My husband ordered a quesadilla and French fries. No fries on his plate so he asks for them again. We wait and wait, no fries. Eventually, she comes to ask how everything is and I remind her he still hadn't gotten his fries. She runs off, comes back and says now they're being cooked and they're on the house. My husband said not to worry about it, we're done. We heard another table order a menu item that they didn't have as well. Nothing positive about this experience. I just looked online at their health code violations, not good is putting it mildly. I wish I knew all this prior!!!

First of all, they were out of 1/2 the menu. Out of French fries really. Coleslaw, no tips ect.

The place is under new ownership, and has been for a bit while they get things worked out... The new menu isn’t bad, but I’ll warn you now... If you want a burger... Don’t ask for bacon... What you get is some kind of California concoction of sweet jelly with bacon bits inside. Killed the entire taste of the Burger. Friday fish fry is good, and no matter who owns the place, you’ll love the atmosphere..

Found this place while looking for Cactus Jack's recommended by an acquaintance of my husband. According to our server, Cactus Jacks was bought over last October and turned into Marker 52. Walking into the place, you can tell it does not yet have an identity. Honestly, if we weren't starving, we would have walked right back out. As seating was full outside, we actually felt better sitting inside, since it was almost empty. It is a "seat yourself and a waiter will find you" deal. The have we chose was right next to the POS system, which means I immediately had a front row seat to the super stressed servers voicing their irritation, which ended up taking my attention away from the live music being played in the corner. For a newly taken over restaurant, the menus look old and worn, like they've been around since the 50s. There are also things on the menu that the restaurant no longer serves, mostly seafood items, which is odd for a place on the water. While we were quite turned off by first impressions, we de used to give the food a try. Our expectations were raised when we tried their bang bang shrimp and onion rings. The flavor and kick from the shrimp was on point, and the onion rings were more onion than breading, which I quite like. At this point, we're expecting the same from our meals. Sadly, it was a let-down. My husband ordered the pulled pork burger, which was good. I ordered the fish and chips, which I found overly breaded and possibly fried in old oil. I was pleasantly surprised by my toddlers chicken tender kid's meal, since the chicken actually seemed to be grilled. All the fries overall were decent. My daughter has the fish sticks and fries also from the kids menu. *Note: the kids menu is not on the menu as of this post, it was verbally told to us by our server.* Our server was very nice. However, the lack of care for COVID guidelines was seen among all staff. Our server was not wearing a mask, and at one point got very close to my husband's face because the live music was too loud. Thankfully my husband was wearing a mask, but it was quite uncomfortable. We also noticed a bit too late into the meal that the kitchen staff was also mask and gloveless. HUGE TURNOFF. Overall, 1.5/5, would not return or recommend.
