I love the food at Pollo Tropical. I have been trying a few of the locations in the metro Fort Lauderdale area to see which one has better customer service. Still I haven't found one where the people behind the counter are happy serving customers. This location was similar to the others. Unfortunately. I went inside to get a half chicken with two sides and the food was tasty and hot. No complaints there. I wished the service component could be improved.

We ordered the whole chicken family meal to go. The rice and beans were fine, but the chicken was clearly a burned, dry , and stale lunch-hour leftover. Even my chihuahua refused to eat it....a bad sign for sure. Not going back to this location.
