“I waited a few minutes while they made a fresh batch of Cajun chicken tenders. It was worth the wait! When I arrived home, I was pleasantly surprised that there was not a drop of grease in the container. The chicken was crispy, crunchy with a spicy Cajun flavor, but not overpowering. The tenders were huge and I can tell they were hand-cut. The honey biscout was a little doughy, but I came for the chicken. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.“

“Hook's is a hole in the wall restaurant off Hillsboro. The building is a bit run down, but the food makes up for that. We tried the fried shrimp, the chicken nuggets, and the chicken tenders. The fried shrimp was absolutely excellent. The chicken nuggets are essentially big chunks of chicken breast, similar to the tenders. They were served fresh and very hot, so hot in fact that we felt the chicken tasted better after cooling down for 15 minutes or so. Hook's does have a drive through and it was consistently busy for our entire time there. The service inside was a bit slow due to the drive through.“

“Nice lil’ breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. We came here for brunch. The gentleman behind the counter was hilarious ? There’s no where to sit in here so we couldn’t dine in technically. However, there some picnic like table just right outside . It was a really nice day we ordered our food and ate it outside. Food was hot and fresh. The cheesy grits were *chefs kiss* Will be back again. I wish there was indoor seating . When we were leaving the gentleman said “hope you enjoy and if not I guess y'all not coming back!” ?Too funny“
“Wow!!!! This place is awesome!!!! Have you ever even heard of watermelon tea??? Well, it's HERE!!! Can I say FAB-U-LOUS!!!! You MUST try!!! Chicken tenders are FRESH battered and fried- not coming out cold! With all the dips to choose from, Huey Magoos offers awesome to everyone! My favorite sauces were the barbecue, garlic, and honey mustard. They were out of banana pudding, or we would've tried that too. Everything was absolutely fantastic! Definitely our new favorite chicken tender spot! Fantastic!“
