Great food, their specials change frequently, and it’s got a nice ambiance. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good and unique Japanese food.

Seriously still the best, so easy...creative dishes, great service, lovely saki, onion salad, tuna haramaki, steak, lotus roots, crispy bok, ...

Oh how I miss their previous establishment, YakkoSan. This is not the same place that had a friendly and inviting staff or hours of operation that they stick to. They seem to close when they please. When we arrived, the staff didn’t even look our way. We had to approach them ourselves. They advertise that they’re open until 1am and we arrived at 12:30 but they had decided to shut things down early and told us they just closed. I wouldn’t expect that on a Saturday night. All we wanted was 20min or so to have some sake and beer. They said we could have it to-go. I asked if we could just sit at a table and enjoy sake quickly rather than taking it to go and drinking in the car. They looked at each other and shook their head and said “sorry, we’re closed.” I used to frequent the previous location and was excited to come to this new one. To say I’m disappointed is understatement and I’ll never come back again. This place is new, but certainly not improved, what a shame.

HIDDEN JEWEL!!This is an original experience with Asian food. Not the regular japanese although their rolls are very good. This is Japanese tapas place!Try their mixed salad with tasty and light dressing, Lotus roots kinpira, spicy tuna harumaki (rice paper, no rice), seabass miso, and their kushi yaki (grill): gizzard, quail eggs, shitake mushroom and not least, lamb chop hichimi yaki!!Very attentive service but too few people. I hope more people discover this quality japanese restaurant se we can come for many years to come.Do not miss it!

Bad food, bad seasoning, and very expensive for how bad it is. There is no acceptance. I would never come back

Went to Yakko Bistro for dinner and was very pleasantly surprised by the Japanese oriented theme of the restaurant. The food was quite good and I tried dey ramen for the first time and it was soo good with the Chashu. The veg sushi was also very good with a good crunch on sesame on the outside and cucumber on the inside. The staff was very friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend visiting this Japanese restaurant for your sushi and ramen needs. And they have more too. Must try!!

It has been many years since Yakko San moved away from this strip mall on West Dixie Hwy, and we eagerly welcome their return. The old Yakko San used to be our favorite spot, especially as it offered Japanese dishes hard to find elsewhere, even now but especially more so back then. The place is bigger than it used to be. There is the familiar menu board of specials. We went on a busy night, so service was on the slow side, some dishes arrive way later than others, but as we were catching up with our friends we didn't mind it as much, though at another table we heard a customer complaining that they had sat down for a while without being attended to. We tried a variety of items, some are great, some less so. My favorites: Chirashi Roll, Oyster Fry Won't order again: Katsu Pork (too dry), Yaki udon (very bland)

The service was the good. The food was good, the best thing was the fried rice. I felt the hot pot broth was a little fishy. I will return to try the ramen It is a cool little spot! That's it, that's all I got

Unbelievable good and incredible service. Don’t let the low rating fool you- it’s a hidden gem of the re-opened Yakko San.
