“We have dinner here regularly, and the food is consistently very good. Service is also good. Had one of their bowls, and my husband had a Reuben - delicious! Wish they had Reubens on the menu all the time because my husband loves them! The bowls are outstanding!“
“The food was delicious, and while our server was friendly, our food took an inordinate amount of time to be served. There were other patrons that were seated after us and finished and paid for their meal before we got out food! When we did receive it though, it was piping hot, fresh and delicious. Would return if in the area and give it another chance.Parking: Parking was difficult - we ended up parking on the street in front of a school down the block.“

“I just had the best bacon egg and cheese sandwich! It comes on a croissant, and it is huge! And tasty! I had a choice of sides with it, would have preferred just the sandwich, but I chose the fruit. I will eat the fruit later, but it looks fresh and tasty. I actually ordered two, but the first sandwich was extremely filling, the second will be supper. The price is not bad for what you get, $8.99 for the sandwich and side. I had mine delivered and I didn't have to wait forever to get it. I highly recommend Metro Diner on Roosevelt Blvd.“
“If you ever want to eat out and still feel at home, this is the place. Everyone was so friendly and the place has that "home town" feel to it. This was my second time here and it was just as amazing as it was my first time. My server mentioned that everything is made from scratch and you can tell. The food was amazing. I need to return and try the lunch/dinner menu and I'll update the review when I do. Definitely, worth a stop if you are close.“
“Love Charlie's Diner for breakfast! I usually get the breakfast pita or omelette with homefries. The homefries are good and crispy. My husband loves the sausage gravy and biscuits. The bacon is good and crispy too. Really attentive and friendly service... Bailey is Awesome! Highly recommend for a good country breakfast with great service.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly options including smiley face pancakes.“
“Consistently great food and service. On my most recent visit in March 2024, we were a table of 6 arriving in the midst of the post-church breakfast crowd. Hostess estimated a 15-20 minute wait; we were seated in 15 minutes. The food was outstanding and plentiful. Strongly recommend.“
“Grumpys is one of my family's go to restaurants. I have never had a bad experience here food wise or service wise. You don't find portion sizes like theirs anymore and that's my number one compliment. The food is always cooked to perfection and we always take home leftovers.
