We stop-Ed by for an early dinner Sunday. We were greeted at the door and escorted to our table. Quickly received beverages. We ordered a caprese salad for an appetizer. Very good fresh and chilled. I had the Antipasto salad and my girlfriend had the soup of the day. Of course fresh bread was so delicious and quickly was consumed. The staff were so friendly and seriously interested in our desires and experience being positive. Which they were. We will return for a date night soon!

I just love this cozy Italian restaurant. Reminds me of Nana's home cooking. Try the bake ziti with sausage and peppers you won't be disappointed

All homemade by a real Italian. Definitely worth the visit. Food is outstanding and Sam is so friendly.

Hands down best Italian in the city! Everything is fresh from the sauces, pasta, down to the rose flower on the table. You can really feel the love in each dish. My husband has been trying to get us here for awhile and I'm so glad we finally got here. 10/10 recommend! They even gave me a fresh rose to go!

Pasta Market Italian Restaurant has given me an experience I will never forget. After asking for an extra plate of spaghetti, the cook stormed out the kitchen grabbed me by my shirt collar and said "you the punk asking for another plate of spaghetti? Why I oughta..." Then he proceeded to throw me down on the table, take the Parmesan cheese shaker and pour it into my eyes. He then threatened to put my first born child on the grill and serve him to my family. Afterwards though, my waitress took care of me. Great waitress.

My first time to Pasta Market. I found it to be a quaint place, what i expect an Italian restaurant. The menu had everything you would want so i tried something from areas. I started out with an appetizer, steam clam. They were delicious with a broth worth several dips from the garlic bread. Next was a house salad. Very fresh, i order a cup ofthe pasta fajoli soup. That was a favorite. I could of had a bowl for my meal. For my entree , i always start a new Italian restaurant by getting the speghetti and meatballs. Both passed my taste test. The sauce was thick and tasty. Meatballs were very good with not to much italian herbs. The chef and owner very friendly, brought out each serving to me. The waitresses worked as a team clearing my plates as i finished even if they weren't my waitress. They were very friendly and could tell they liked their jobs, like they were family. I would definately recommend the Pasta market.

We love the Pasta Market! Sam, the chef and owner, is wonderful. He always comes out to say hello. The food is fantastic! Just ask my Sicilian mother :) Sam has come to know us and when he's in the kitchen he makes my husband a special dish he loves. We feel like family. We've celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, first dates, gender reveals, and graduations with The Pasta Market. Every time the food is delicious and you can taste it was made with love and care. Plan to take your time at the Pasta Market. It isn't fast food: it's homemade and meant to be savored! Orange Park is fortunate to have this quaint family restaurant right on Kingsley. Give it a try and tell Sam hello!

The rating below this, the one by Capi R, is 100% incorrect. The statements made were not factual and I genuinely hope that potential customers do not allow it to deter them from visiting. I was physically in the restaurant that night to witness this family and the chaos they created that night. I have enjoyed eating here for many years. The food is incredibly fresh and you can absolutely taste the difference compared to corporate restaurants. The time it takes to get your food does take longer than your average restaurant and that is because Sam, the owner takes pride in every plate that comes out. I just know not to come in if I'm in a rush and don't have the time to enjoy my experience. The waitresses are both very sweet and I'm made to feel like family every time I come in. We laugh and joke and occasionally, if I'm lucky, Sam tempts me with a sample from whatever he has cooked up as the "SPECIAL" for the evening! It is obvious that everyone here enjoys being here. This is my GO TO place anytime family is in town! *just a little side note, I think it's pretty amazing that the employees or Sam, whoever it was...someone offered to run to the store for gluten free pasta for this Capi person. Ive never heard of anyone at any other restaurant CARING so much that they offer to go buy what's needed to complete the meal. Usually they just give you some sort of gift card to use on your next visit...so you end up going home STILL HUNGRY! But, you know, you can't win them all. Some people will never be pleased. GO GET SOME FRESH ITALIAN CUISINE!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

I'm not sure why all the negative reviews and I'm questioning if some of these people have the correct place. My experience was great! The food was phenomenal. Everything was fresh and prepared to order. The owner Sam came to the table to introduce himself and tell us about the special of the day (pictured). It was a chicken and spinach cannelloni with julienne vegetables. It was AMAZING! You could taste that it was prepared with love. My entree came with soup or salad.... the salad was fresh and crisp. The garlic bread was good.Service was slow because they only had one waitress but she did her absolute best to accommodate every diner. The food more than made up for the delaysThe decor was cute... nothing too fancy but still very cozy and charming . All in all I'd definitely come back

Worst experience I have ever had anywhere.. owner told me that if he had been in my shoes he would have sat in a Corner and shot himself to death!!!! Tonight was to be a night of remembrance for our family. We came to what was once my parents favorite restaurant to celebrate their anniversary. The first one since they both have passed away. We had a very sweet witress. I explained that I have celiac disease and needed to know if they had gluten free pasta and what types of pasta they had. She explained that she had not worked there long yet but would be happy to check on that and check on if they could do the caprese salad without toast or bread. We watched her walk over to the kitchen. To ask. She was told that the type of pasta would depend on what was ordered. We placed our order. Mine for spaghetti and meatballs. I ws told that would not be a problem. We ordered the caprese and fried green tomatoes. 30 mins later she came back to inform us that they could not make the caprese and that they didn't have fried green tomatoes. We then ordered the fried mozzarella sticks. I could not eat of the mozzarella sticks because they have gluten. I skipped appetizers and just ate my side side. 2 hours had passed. The witress kept going to the kitchen to check our order and apologizing to us because it was taking so long. A short time later our waitress then came up to us and explained she was just told that they were out of gluten free pasta. She said they might be able to run to the store to pick some up and that I would just need to wait longer for my food. We asked to speak with the owner because this was crazy to have waited 2 hours to tell us they were out of the pasta. The owner came out and went to the wrong table. We had to call him over. He tried telling us tht the food was ready. He said he had just gotten there (This was a lie we wat he'd him in the kitchen looking at us each time the witress went to ask question.) He also said he was thinking that we had already eaten and was wondering what ws going on. We told him that we were leaving. He started to argue with us saying thst all the food was ready (another lie my gluten free was not ready) I asked him how he would feel if it was him in our place how would he handle it. He said he would "seat himself in a corner and shoot his his head off". We got up to leave on the way out we apologized to the waitress who told us not to worry she is walking out right behind us because of how they had treated us and her tonight. This place does not deserve even 1 star. Between the dirty silverware, pair service, rude and manipulative owner, we will never be back. We will celebrate elsewhere frome here on out. None of the organizations I work with will ever host any event here either.

This was once my entire families favorite place to eat, but we have stopped going. Service was excellent but now it’s mediocre on its best day. The back breaker for us happened over a year ago(yes, this is an old review). My wife ordered a pasta combo and there was a piece of plastic about the size of a JFK piece in her sauce. I ordered pizza and it was burned on the bottom. I wasn’t happy at all and the server didn’t seem to care in the slightest. Never saw a manager or the owner, which once was a certainty for every visit, just to say hi. I sent them a message through FB messenger as well, telling about our experience. It was read but no response. Obviously, we haven’t been back. And we won’t be.

The restaurant is dated. But you're not eating the decor, right? It's really strange, but every time we have dinner here, we are one of only 2 or 3 tables in the dining room. It is weirdly empty for all the delicious food they have. This particular visit we had pizza. Now, I am a pizza connoisseur. And this was some good pizza. The crust was freshly tossed, toppings were plentiful. Will definitely be going back for pizza again.

Absolutely delicious and as authentic as can be. Service time left a little to be desired, but everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable! I had the best filet I've ever had. Filet Milanese. OMG, I normally get a ribeye and hardly ever order filet. Gotta try it!

The authentication of Sam's cooking. Sam himself is a true Italian Angie knows how to run the house. The 6 of us felt like we were in Sam's home kitchen. We look forward to introducing friends and family to this wonderful establishment!
