I do not like the remodel they did years ago. It's like they are trying to be something they're not. It seems the food has gotten worse depending on the dish. The service can be lacking at times. I miss the old Sonny's. I only come back for thy big deal and the pulled pork.
I had a great meal at Sonny’s today and I’m not typically a fan of Sonny’s. I truly appreciated Lou, my server. I wasn’t sure what I wanted and she asked me several questions and absolutely nailed it. I had the winds and they were AMAZING. I can say I was sleeping on Sonny’s wings. Thanks Lou for opening my eyes. Great food but even better service. !

Anytime I go anywhere I have to try BBQ. Visiting my Parents in Jacksonville and this place was highly recommend. Pulled pork and smoked wings were excellent. The coleslaw tasted like KFC's (that's not a bad thing). The brisket sandwich and chili were really good. I would recommend.
