I wish there was a better description than a “easy going gay bar”. I thought this would be an inclusive bar to the LGBTQ+ community, but I felt unwelcomed the moment I walked in. Ive been to plenty of gay bars that did not make me feel uncomfortable. There were large tvs all around the bar with a slide show of very nude, gay men only p**n. leaving nothing to imagination. I recently visited Barcodes for the first time after having a horrible experience at another gay bar called Savoy/Ivanhoe that I would not ever recommend or return to.Barcodes bar was clean and organized. I enjoyed the wine, and I saw they had a decent selection of beers too.
