Do they have a dress code?

I recently visited Barcodes for the first time after having a horrible experience at another gay bar called Savoy/Ivanhoe that I would not ever recommend or return to.Barcodes bar was clean and organized. I enjoyed the wine, and I saw they had a decent selection of beers too. I saw some negative reviews about not serving alcohol but if they looked online first they would see it’s a beer/wine mostly place.I ended up returning because I enjoyed the vibe. The bartenders have been super friendly, customer service is good and they are always looking after patrons and maintaining the bar / keeping it clean. The drinks are reasonable price. Everyone is pretty chill. There is pool table, darts, TVs and music. I will likely return.

They fired the best bartender Nick cause he picked up some work outside on a day off. That's poor service for this place, and Nick was the reason so many went. Find another local hangout! Parking sucked anyway cause you have to park at the VFW and cross a busy dark street at night.

I just learned that one of the regular bartenders was fired recently. To the owner of Barcodes... Shame on You. You just lost a customer. I imagine you will be losing a lot more customers as well. I don't usually take to social media about anything in particular. However, when I learned the news I was sickened. I was even more sickened to learn the reason why he was fired. To the owner of Barcodes... You better brush up on how to run a business. I publicly call out to all who read this... DO NOT GO TO BARCODES ON MONDAY WEDNESDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS. GO TO SAVOY INSTEAD. I also call out to all who read this to post similar reviews on how the Owner of Barcodes needs to WAKE UP.

No cock here!! Group of 3 or 4 in the back yard doing there thing they seem to be unfriendly for any unfamiliar faces. They seem to be doing the wrong thing back in a corner and a backyard. I tried to approach them, but they did not seem to want to talk to me so I got up and I left so much for that.

Fun. Options available to lick a local amongst other unique adventures to add to your memory book any night you choose to head to this bar and people watch or let loose and meet new friends or non-friends.

I wish there was a better description than a “easy going gay bar”. I thought this would be an inclusive bar to the LGBTQ+ community, but I felt unwelcomed the moment I walked in. Ive been to plenty of gay bars that did not make me feel uncomfortable. There were large tvs all around the bar with a slide show of very nude, gay men only p**n. leaving nothing to imagination. There was a sex shop and a pool table, then a door that lead out back and I dont want to know what was going on out there?. It was a hookup bar for men. I’m sure if I could be a male that was gay, I’d feel more at place there, but just disappointing that it was not inclusive or welcoming at all. I wish I knew before I went because I felt so anxious afterwards. Other than that, it seems nice for men that are sick of Grindr and want to actually meet real people.

This place was really weird the bar tender was cool but still sent me over to Hanks knowing how gross it is over there. They only served beer and wine coolers. I went to the bathroom and this dude followed me in and while I was sitting at the bar this other dudes pulled up my shirt without permission. Nothing but half naked dudes on the the TV screens. It was my birthday and I went to have a good time but left feeling very disappointed and uncomfortable.

I love barcodes. It's very unassuming and anyone is truly welcomed as long as you do your part (1 drink minimum- even if it's just a bottle of water) and you can stay and enjoy the inside bartender and patrons, play pool in the back of the inside bar, shop at the adult novelty store ( very fair prices and extremely convenient ), go outside and enjoy the colorful patio, great music, and conversation with friends, or head straight back to the adult playground for some fun fun ! it offers so much in a small space so it never feels empty . I suggest every gay man experience Barcodes - even if you're like me and don't particularly love a bar scene. Ive met some very cool friends and the service is excellent. They make you feel like it's your bar, or hangout! Be respectful and you're always welcomed ! Fantastic place with great people!

Grrr Nick bad breath, smell like he had taken out the garbage and brought it back with him. All started running around with his underwear on and no he did not even take my order and it’s just a horrible. Oh my God horrible and his hair light a mess. He looks like he was only at three day bend her on some thing I don’t even know I wish we had never went there. he ran around in his underwear. I don’t even know what saw you was dancing to show red round here. Crazy person say oh are you ready? Are you ready? I’ve been ready for three hours and did not see her order at all. no I’m not ready I am good leaving. Then cops an attitude like I was the one at fault you didn’t even speak to me for two hours and then you’re gonna try to sit there and say that I’m the one on the wrong are you insane? Get better nick omg nooiii ????‍♀️?

It's a beer bar mostly, some seltzers, but staff is always friendly and is lookin out for you. Clean but dark, patio area is really nice and feels like a good getaway with the right people.Theres a shop inside. Pretty nice selection of items relevant to "the gays"

Bad Cat

The store is a bit pricey on the Andrew Christian underwear and lubes. They're reasonable with the poppers, er...um...fingernail polish remover. LOL!Their beer prices are reasonable as well. They take credit cards, which is awesome! They only sell beer and wine along with soft drinks. And they have a very cruisey back patio. Great gay bar that has been there for as long as I remember, but not as nor tortious as Hank's Bark, which is less than a mile up Edgewater Dr from Codes. Bartenders are very friendly there and they have the ever popular Underwear nights on Sundays and Wednesdays. If u get down to your underwear, they discount u $0.50 or $0.75 off your beer or something like that.

I love the mix vibe of this bar. The bartenders are all lovely and the guests are pleasant as well. This bar is so much more then it’s outside space. It’s a nice place to chill and meet some nice people, without the constant fear of being judged or discriminated against… Like a few other queer bars in Orlando.

This place seemed very clickish to me. They also do NOT serve liquor here which sucks. However it is a pretty fun environment and seemed a bit of a cruisey place which can be fun. The bartenders were trying to work their butts off making sure every one had a beer, wine, or high noon in their hands. I’ll definitely be back.
