I moved here from Maryland and I missed having my Rita's custard. I'm so glad they are here in Orlando now! Don't ever go away. Their custard is the creamiest ice cream custard you will ever taste. Incredible! And the flavored ice with the custard in a gelati, amazing! If you haven't tried Rita's you've got to go!!! Such a treat!

Paula is seriously amazing!! Came here on Sunday night around 8pm with my wife and 2 kids. Spent all day at Disney Animal Kingdom and we wanted a cold treat. There was a pretty long line but we didn't mind since my kids never tried it. She let my daughter sample the flavor she wanted. We got 2 custard swirls and a mango vanilla gelati. She single handedly managed the orders and cash register by herself and took her time molding the gelati to perfection. She swirled the most perfect custard for my kids. My son accidentally put his retainer in a napkin and threw it in the trash. We turned around and Paula helped us find it. Paula is an absolute life saver. Thank you!!!

The employee Colton that works at this location is AMAZING!!! If he isn’t already the manager, he really needs to be!! My family and I spent the last week here in FL for my son’s 9th birthday. When we walked in, my son had seen the Rita’s mascot in the store. My son who is special needs asked if we could buy it for his birthday. Colton went above and beyond after hearing our conversation (trying to explain to our son that they aren’t for sale and they don’t have them online to buy) Colton asked us to come back the next day and he would see what he could do. The next day we go and Colton FOUND ONE FOR OUR SON!! We couldn’t believe the loving jester Colton gave to us, complete strangers. My son will never forget this (and neither will we)

went in and asked for a large and small gelati. ice was very soupy and already melted. when custard was put on top it overflowed out the sides and was spilling everywhere. it got all over our clothes and they are now ruined. this was not an enjoyable experience for us. as en ex rita's employee at a different location, this location was very disappointing.

To Yelpers: Please check and double check your charges! This area is very touristy and unfortunately, some business will take advantage of customers. Parents are usually overwhelmed with their children. Searched Yelp for "Ice Cream" and this place had the best reviews and was nearby. The two guys who served us were cool. Update: Unfortunately they overcharged me. My daughter had a waffle bowl with vanilla ice cream and sprinkle. She ate it all. I had the mango and Pina Colada shaved ice with custard on top. Different and a little too sweet for my liking.
Hostess was super friendly, helpful, and genuine! We even got a discount for working at Disney. They offer discounts for others as well! We got the ice flight and we’re able to try several flavors for under $5 with the discount.Dietary restrictions: Almost all Italian ices were dairy free!

Employee working was so kind. Reviewed every ingredient for me to ensure I didn't purchase something I couldn't have. I ended up getting the lemon Italian ice. It was very lemony. Grateful for the attention to detail and care the employee had. He used a fresh scoop and washed his hands before serving me to prevent cross contamination. Another perk- a Disney discount was provided after showing proof of CM employment. So grateful. Will 110% come back after work each day on the way home. Best service I've had off of Disney property in a LONG time. Big thanks to
