This hotel was amazing! The staff was friendly and super helpful. The room was what we loved the best. They’re modern and comfortable. Bonus that they let you book a “day rate” so those of us flying in on red eyes can catch up on sleep. I would 100% recommend this hotel.

Do not stay here if you plan to leave on a trip. We had an early flight out in the morning. I called three times to make sure they had an airport shuttle and we could leave our car in their parking lot. I was assured we could. We got here the night before the flight to find out that we cannot park our car here. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Whenever I travel out of Orlando this hotel is my home away from home. Today as I stood in line to check in there was a lady before me that had an issue and the care that was given was impressive. Then it was my turn and I also had an issue with my booking, Lisa and JP are amazing and you should be proud they are the face of your brand! Neither issues were any fault of the hotel but they took ownership and were so welcoming. This will always be my place to stay when needed! Thanks again Lisa and JP for being so kind it really means a lot!

This hotel is just minutes from MCO and within walking distance of just about any food you want to eat. We felt safe there, the room was clean, the staff were wonderful and the value to $$$ ratio was excellent.

Booked this hotel one month in advance. Had 3 requests. They responded to 2 of them, early checkin and late checkout. 2 hrs past the 11 a.m. rule. That was denied, had to pay more than half the nightly rate for extra two hrs which was requested due to late flight departure. They must be starving for money, funny as all flights completely full plus we found out off site parking was too. It is common for hotels to let customers park their car at hotel while traveling. I requested that and it was never denied as others. I made sure at checkin that it was noted on our reservation along with complete description of car. Never was there any communication that we couldn’t. Yet they did respond to two other adjoining requests. At very last second when boarding airport shuttle the manager sent the clerk to get us and made us move the car to another location. Time is ticking to board our flight. We had to load 4 PCs of heavy luggage with torn rotator cuff awaiting surgery, into our car, find an off site parking with availability. Kate, the manager of this hotel never once came out from behind her desk to talk face to face. We handled the situation as respectful as we do. No confrontation at all. You can have the highest rated hotel and it’s rated that due to good communication and respect for your customers. I would give this hotel zero rating, since not possible it gets a 1 star. Not reliable and no respect for the people making it possible they have a job. Kate needs to go to a motel with cheap rates as her actions bottom of the barrel.

Modern and clean rooms, close to the airport and rental car places. Lots of restaurants close by. Very clean and accommodating and staff was courteous, professional, friendly, and helpful. Continental breakfast was basic and coffee was terrible, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay here.

We were pleased with the service, housekeeping and our room especially. Wingate is definitely the place to be for a weekend trip or family vacation? You won’t be disappointed. From check-in to check-out they took great care of us.

Wingate is a very comfortable hotel. The rooms are well maintained. The continental breakfast is sufficient. The staff are very professional. The hotel is conveniently located to many of the the restaurants which are in walking distance.

Very pleasant facility with very friendly accommodating staff. Great location close to the airport with numerous restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Seems to be a very safe and quiet business type area.

My room was comfortable. The The staff the two women from venezuela who work the front desk are so racist especially the tall one. She gave me a room by the elevator. You don't ever give a to two women a room by the elevator. I should not have to tell anyone who works at hotel that. It's a safety concern. I stayed there once before my experience was nice. This time foreigners with their racist attitudes as if black people cannot pick up on it. Money is green the manager needs to remind them of that.

This by far was a nice room to stay in,It is equipped with a microwave, mini fridge/refrigerator, and a very spacious bathroom in room coffee maker, flat screen TV,Ironing board and iron and of course a blow dryer lol.....I enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay again I booked it off Expedia last minute and was impressed with the accomodations and not to mention all the food places within 2-5mins of the hotel. I would recommend it as a nice place and friendly service.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. In my week stay I had to move rooms three times. The first time they put a couple with a baby in the room behind me and the baby screamed all. Night. Long. The second time was because they put me in a room that fit some reason every 15-20 it would start to shake really. The beds kept shaking and the walls and it was accompanied by this high pitch ringing. The third time was because they moved me to a room next to another couple with a little boy who would bang on the walls all night, run up and down the hall and scream at the top of his lungs. The women at the front desk always had an attitude and never wanted to give me a new room so I called corporate and they called the hotel and reprimanded them. This hotel staff is so incompetent and negligent.

So, I have been a Wyndham employee for 7 years running the concierge desk at many high end resorts on the west coast. Vino bello (Napa) peacock suites (Anaheim) Sonoma, SF.. you name it. I checked in tonight, amazing check in, great service from the two young ladies. Quick check in, all was well. I headed out to grab my son who was coming in from another state. We grabbed dinner then came in pretty late, (his flight landed at 1230)We are both sort of a wind down time, I am coming from SF and wanted to watch a show and catch up.. tv didn't work.I called down and apologized and provided solutions.. (possibly batteries. What can I do to help) and the girl made a decision to move us rooms.. I didn't want to oblige but my son and I felt like a movie would be good..So I said ok..This is my issue. We came down and they had keys waiting for us!! Awesome.. but the manager clearly was not happy and the girl I talked on the phone clearly looked like she was in trouble and was upset.. not cool.So I grabbed my keys and we left.. my 17 year old son said to me "I think we just got someone fired" The energy shift was horrible.. I was so happy about great customer service but clearly something went wrong in how she handled us.I got to the new room and called down to say thank you and now everything was perfect.. the phone rang 6 times and the male manager picked up, it was a very direct and cold, "yes" and I said who is this.. he told me his name and I didn't fully hear it.. I then said, "the room is great and I really appreciate the switch, it means a lot to us, please pass that along" and he said "ok" and hung up. The two young ladies working the night of March 13th were great! Will be back because of them. Any manger who scolds or lectures his employees when they take care of a guest needs to find a job outside of hospitality. I would stay here again.. absolutely. Management can dictate a resort and their scores.. so I hope this is addressed..And to be honest, I may be way off, but my son and I got the same vibe.If I have this wrong, just message me and explain but I want to get the front desk associates response too.

I stayed here for a work training/ convention. We had been using this location for the last 3 years, twice a year. The last time I was her (last spring) , they were starting to remodel. I was really pleased with the results. The lobby is so inviting and bright. The decorations are very nice. The staff is friendly, specially the kitchen/ breakfast lady. She's very attentive and helpful. The meeting room was a good size and they provided the equipment we needed for our presentations.Everyone in our group (20) were satisfied with the services and the rooms.

Stopped here on our way to Disney. Bed was fine if not just a little bit on the poppa bear side for my taste. Room was clean, and had all the usual hotel stuff as expected. Now for the 2 star portion. I come from a different time zone, so I was a bit slow in the morning coming down for breakfast having just landed at 1 AM local time. However, if you only want to serve breakfast til 9:40, don't tell me it is served til 10. The pancakes were previously frozen/leftover, and still partially frozen when I threw them on the plate. The water mixed with juice concentrate machine was turned off(I watched them do it while I was in line). Silverware was hauled away, and then the food. There were 10 of us in all, and my wife didnt get much to eat because she was trying to take care of the kids first, and the rest was hauled off before she was able to get more than what the kids had left over.
