My favorite place to get sweet potato sushi. Inexpensive and delicious. I sometimes get their "fancier" rolls too but they do basics pretty well. Is it the best sushi in the world? No. But it's pretty great for neighborhood sushi. I'm a frequent customer here through grub hub.
First off, the fish cakes (nigiri) were really good and the only reason why I would go back. The fish was fresh and tasty, something that is rare in Orlando. The ginger was fresh and I would only recommend this place for the nigiri. The tempura was a bit too greasy and lacked the refinement of good Japanese restaurants. Everything else was kind of OK. I've been here a total of two times and this place never fails to amaze me. The phoenix roll with the yum yum sauce was easily a 10/10. The dynamite roll was also really good as well as their hibachi. The inside has great vibes, definitely an amazing date spot and the staff is very nice and friendly. I also had a fried Oreo roll which was interesting; I was not expecting it but it's a nice funny addition to the menu.
