You need to get on the list early as it is a small place, but it is always a great time once you are inside. The drinks are good, but the atmosphere is out of this world!! I would suggest grabbing a full meal upstairs, but if all you need is a snack the food is solid.

Trader Sams is THE BEST! Great drinks, the skippers are always amazing, fun atmosphere, etc... I've obsessed over the decor so much that I've managed to collect most of it for my home, all the photos from the wall, several of the carvings, masks, figures, etc. Its a fun place!

A fun gimmick. Would not go twice and I pray for the servers that have to repeat the same script for all the drinks with different celebrations. We waited 4 hours to get let in so I'm not as thrilled as I would have been to just walk in and get the experience. I wouldn't wait longer than an hour for this place, you can find similar tiki bars downtown.

Possibly the coolest restaurant/bar experience on Disney property. Every drink order creates a new interactive reaction from the room and bartending staff. They truly put their all into their performances. About 1/3 of the drinks on offer have souvenir tiki mugs also available to purchase with them. These are quality stone mugs, not plastic, a truly worthy keepsake and souvenir. You can only purchase these mugs if you get the drinks, so be prepared to indulge. Some drinks are recommended for 2+ guests as well so keep that in mind too. There's a reason why this is usually a 2-3 hour wait on your average day. We were lucky to be able to walk in and have a fantastic experience!

Theming was fun and appropriately done--all of the "windows" were volcanoes with screens that would rain, erupt lava, really cute! My friend and I went at around 9:30 during spring break and surprisingly managed to get a table. We were seated with another party of 2 but they were lovely to talk to! Just be aware that the entire bar is very small, so there aren't many tables and big parties might not be seated altogether. Our waitress got into the theming and even tried to surprise me a few times with her goodly eye glasses lmao. I ordered the "Skipper Sipper," one of the "no-booze brews" since I was driving. It was very refreshing and I could taste the mint and lime flavors. Really good!

We were seated at the bar and bartenders Alyssa and Dizz made it such a memorable experience for us. If you have the time on your vacation, make a trip there. If you have kiddos with you, they are allowed in from opening until 8p.m. They have a friendly mocktail selection for the little ones and they would really enjoy the atmosphere. 21+ starts after 8p.m until close. Also, try the dumplings! Food tends to come out in small portions so be mindful they are more snack sized than a full meal.

Hostess and manager would not let my wife, age 29, myself, age 29, and her two parents in their sixties in because my wife’s drivers license recently expired and did not arrive in the mail on time. Even the TSA allows for expired licenses if they are recently expired. Afterwards we attempted to order a couple of drinks outside, and the same manager would only allow our party of four to order one drink. So did my wife’s DOB change within the two weeks of her license expiring?Is the state of Florida going to revoke Walt Disney World’s liquor license for serving to a 29 year old and her parents? This was the last night of our otherwise fantastic trip and it left a bitter taste in our mouths.

Waited in line for an hour prior to opening to put our name on a list. We arrived at 3:05 when we were texted (5 mins after opening) they wanted our party of 3 to share an intimate (tight) seating area with a tiny table with 2 strangers. 2 people had to have their back to the bar so they missed the entertainment most of the time. Very disappointed - not like it use to be when they first opened.
