TGI Fridays

Our experience tonight was really great... better than expected. We really didn't have any expectations, to be honest; we hadn't been to TGI Friday's in a looooonnnnng time, and the times we had been in somewhat recent years (other locations) it was kind of just ok, but this time was a really a pleasant surprise. I don't know why, but this Friday's always has lousy service. I have been to these restaurants all over the country, and Ormond Beach rates among the lowest. I don't know if management is just lazy, or if there isn't a good supply of wait staff in Ormond, but there could certainly be improvement. Food was good (but slow to come to the table).

25 years ago this place was packed on a Friday night. 1 hour or more wait times. Not tonight and I can see why.. The food was expensive but the flavor and presentation didn't measure up to the price. The service was great, our server Cheyenne was excellent and the host was helpful and nice. I feel like this place has a lot of wasted potential. You have these fantastic employees but the food is just meh
