Our experience tonight was really great... better than expected. We really didn't have any expectations, to be honest; we hadn't been to TGI Friday's in a looooonnnnng time, and the times we had been in somewhat recent years (other locations) it was kind of just ok, but this time was a really a pleasant surprise. Our server was kind, pleasant, checked in exactly the right amount of times... (...not too often, like when you have a mouth full of food and you're not sure how to respond, and not seldomly, that you wonder where they are when you need something... we never had to wonder, he was never far, and always attentive! ) There were awesome happy hour specials, and super reasonable apps that were quite tasty! We had the chimmichuri garlic meatball skewers (Yum!) & the truffle nacho tots (just right! ) -- we shared a Chicken Pastor bowl, and it was really yummy. We were so pleasantly surprised... I don't know why, but this Friday's always has lousy service. I have been to these restaurants all over the country, and Ormond Beach rates among the lowest. I don't know if management is just lazy, or if there isn't a good supply of wait staff in Ormond, but there could certainly be improvement. Food was good (but slow to come to the table).

Walked in to an empty place...1st red flag. Sat down, waitress was pleasant and attentive. Food came out and when I say "gross" I'm not exaggerating. I ordered the chicken dish that came out on a skillet and was so hot that it was sizzling and burning me. I had to wait so long for it to cool before I could even attempt to eat it and when it did cool down it tasted awful. Half the food burnt onto the skillet and couldnt be scraped off. I've never ever sent a meal back but I had to. It was just nasty. My husband's boneless chicken wings were hard as rocks and he sent his back as well. Only thing tasty was the pot stickers!. This meal would have cost us about 60.00 had we been charged, which we weren't charged but only for the soda and pot stickers. Will NEVER go here again. I can not stress enough how bad this was. Sorry not sorry.

Came in at 9pm with only a few other ppl in the place. Appetizers came fairly quick but tasted very generic. My food was tasteless. My friend's food (ribs and shrimp) was dry and chewy. The waiter disappeared for long periods and we had to beg for drink refills. I hadn't been to a Friday's in several years and I'm mad I gave it a chance. Never again even if it was free. Stay away.

"I Bartender, Never in my life I have had "The worst service, empty bar....food took forever to come out, Bartender never gave us silver ware, then he says, drinks are on me,....then says he is going to add the drinks on the bill cause he didn't like the tip My girfreind left,....well if you are attentive and give good service , you will get a good tip.....Service sucked!!!!and the Bartender needs a few classes on how to take care of your guests!!!!!

Ordered to go food tonight. I took a big ole bite into my chicken slider and it was raw. Then my son found 2 hairs in the Mac and Cheese. We lost our appetite and threw out all the food.I called the store 3 times and no one answered. Hopefully someone will reach out and make this right.

Ribs were tough as shoe leather. Very little sauce on the ribs. Not even hot .The food was LOUSEY!! I don't believe anyone cares at all. All the manager in my opinion. Wants is to fatten the profit for the resturant. Do not go to Friday's near the beach unless you like LOUSEY food !!!

25 years ago this place was packed on a Friday night. 1 hour or more wait times. Not tonight and I can see why.. The food was expensive but the flavor and presentation didn't measure up to the price. The service was great, our server Cheyenne was excellent and the host was helpful and nice. I feel like this place has a lot of wasted potential. Came in a little after 12:30pm. The place was dead, that was my first red flag. No one greeted us to seat us for at least 5 minutes even though employees were within sight. There were only 3 tables in there seated with people, the help was just busy talking to each other. The table was dirty, the waitress was absent, and the food was gross. I will NEVER go back.I see the owner's response, honestly, you don't need my information, you need to be talking to your hired help.

Ordered a diet soda and a martini. Took two people discussing the details we received a very watered down excuse for a martini. I asked for Tito's but not sure what I was served. After waiting an hour for our food we were told one order was over cooked and had to be remade. We opted to cut our losses and pay for what was ready. Had them pack it to go and left. Never again.

Came in today with my family after a 8 hour drive to get something to eat and the only person that acknowledged they we were there was the waiter at the door. After sitting down all the staff looked in our general direction multiple times and after 15 minutes nobody took the initiative to even ask if we wanted a drink. The guy at the bar heard when my mother asked if anyone was going to serve us and he looked for a brief moment then looked back at his phone, rude. The other young lady that was was walking around rather tended to tables and walked past us four times made eye contact and still ignored us. Sad excuse for service

the food was alright, it really depended on what you got. the mozzarella sticks were the best thing possible, to die for, but the rest of the menu didnt really look that appetizing, mainly meat and ribs.i got the side dishes macaroni and cheese and fries as my meal , the macaroni was so good but so small ??? and the cheese was a bit too solid sometimes. the fries were alright, a bit too sweet thoughthe nachos were very salty and mostly crunchy, but randomly they tasted awful and soggy; the salsa was alrightthe waiter took like 10 minutes to come at first, 20-30 for appetizers, so long i thought it was the meal, and it took 5 minutes for a drink refill. im not in the service industry so this could be standard but it felt like such long gaps of time between anything happening in terms of service.overall food okay service fine , 3/5
