“Located inside the Chevron gas station.Truthfully I was unsure what to expect, I really wanted Boba Tea and found this very close by. The gas station is very well organized and has friendly employees which adds a complimenting touch of calm and friendliness to the atmosphere. There are also amazing snack options to eat in the gas station with your boba tea! The Boba itself, for me; was incredibly tasty. Soft but not firmy, chewy but not sticky! The Brown Sugar Boba Tea is their absolute best seller and let me tell you, it is perfection! When first given this tea with no alteration requests, it is not too sweet and not too bitter. Just the right amount of sweet to balance the tea flavor. But I have a sweet tooth, so I request it very sweet and I love it more every time! This place has become my usual go to spot for Boba and I have not found any other shop that does it better. They are second to none, best Boba Tea in this county by an incredible margin! Please give them a try, their spring rolls are fresh and crispy and their rice is flavorful. They even sell their own homemade hot sauce that is unlike any hot sauce I ever tried but is very very delicious.They have since changed location from the Chevron gas station to their own store. “Despite having to wait an additional 20 minutes after our reservation time to get seated, dining at Divieto was a 5 star experience.

We had the calamari & lobster bisque to start and they were both delicious. Please note that the bisque is only offered on Sundays.

Our server Bryan did an excellent job presenting the wine bottle, offering dining suggestions and attentive service throughout the dinner.

For mains I had the lamb chops and they were melt off the bone type good. It’s a little bit on the sweeter side so it may not be for everyone.

“Some of my favorite places to eat are restaurants that transitioned from food trucks as is the case with BMC Smash Burgers. BMC Smash Burgers began in 2021 as a popular food truck, Eat BMC operated by Jason "Jay Rok" Smith. In August of this year the brick-and-mortar location of BMC Smashburger opened on Dixie Highway in Oakland Park. Smith has taken smash burgers, thin beef patties cooked on a super-hot griddle to a new level of deliciousness. The burger is pressed with a spatula, to increase browning and crispy edges for maximum flavor. The smash burger technique is said to have been popularized by the Smashburger chain founded in Denver in 2007.

I finally got the chance to try BMC Smash Burgers after visiting the Small Biz Saturday Local Makers Market that was being held across the tracks. Parking for the restaurant is limited but I found a strip of free spaces across the street. The inside is no frills with a few tables and two more out front. You order at the counter and they brought my food out to me when it was ready. While I waited for my meal I was able to watch cooking in the open kitchen.

The menu features the smash burgers that made them famous but it also has a patty melt, hot dogs, tots, and fries. Dessert is a fresh baked cookie. You can't go wrong with the BMC Smash, a house blend patty of chuck-brisket-short rib blend , grilled onions, American cheese, BMC sauce, and house pickles, or take it up a notch with a Spicy BMC Smash, which start with the classic BMC Smash Burger and adds pepper jack cheese and house-pickled jalapeños.

I ordered the single BMC burger with fries and I was not disappointed. The flavor packed burger had crispy, lacy edges while still remaining juicy in the middle. The house made pickles are chef's kiss and the BMC signature sauce was the perfect topping for the burger while also making an excellent dipping sauce for the fries. It is easy to see why so many lists have named BMC smash burgers as the best in Broward.”

“Phenomenal food quality and service. There are so many options: different sashimi, toppings, and dressings. Tuna, cabbage, cucumber, and carrots with wasabi cream dressing was one of my favorite combinations. The portion size is very satisfying. For the price, you cannot get a fresher, tastier poke bowl than this. In terms of the environment, this is a small store, but I really love the vibe and décor. Crave is a great place for family and friends. Looking forward to my next visit.”
