Well, the colors were perfect and they were beautifully frosted. She did one dozen each of red velvet, chocolate, and vanilla. Every flavor was delicious! I will order again for our next event.”

“I’m from the North suburbs of Chicago, and this place is just like the food I bought at home. Great Italian beefs, GREAT beef tamales, great Chicago thin crust pizza. All order more different items soon. Good Italian sausage too! I live in Edgewater and I constantly check the calendar to see when they are in my area……. If I order pizza I place an online order because there is a wait…. But that’s what you get when they make it fresh! Sometimes I’ll order a hot dog and tamale and eat that while I wait, but the online ordering is efficient. I would definitely recommend that for deep dish. Go Cubs!!”

“The food is not bad but don't count on online orders being correct. Multiple times they've been wrong or missing items. Today was the worst it's ever been. Copy of what I ordered online, copy of receipt and picture of what we got. You're charged extra for guacamole questions ect and well see picture.. steak order was mostly right missing queso beans and extra meat and salsa, chicken order COMPLETELY wrong only had Pico and shredded cheese and sour cream missing everything else.”

“I've been eating here since 2004 when I first moved down from New York. It's probably the closest thing to New York Chinese food that you'll get, and I always enjoy most of their meals, but sometimes depending on who's cooking they are not consistent. “Tortillas are great, honestly better than any sit down restaurant I've been to. When the meat is fresh it's also outstanding. That's the one problem, it seems some of the meat has sit for a bit past its hold time occasionally. Fix that minor consistency issue and it's definitely 5 stars. Also great because the price point sits right between Taco Bell and Chipotle. So if you want higher quality than TB but don't want to pay $15 for mostly rice/beans and a small amount of meat at Chipotle (seriously, one $4.50 Laredo taco has more meat than a regular burrito serving at Chipotle), Laredo hits the spot.”

“I made the mistake of coming to pick up my online order too early (didn't know tickets didn't print out until the time selected on the order), so I was asked to come inside to show them my order so they could just make it on the spot. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating even though I'm sure I inconvenienced them lol, and I really appreciated their kindness. They made my order quickly, and again, literally every staff member on site today was SO NICE to me. Then as I was leaving with my hands full, another angel of a patron offered to get the door for me. It was just an overall pleasant experience and atmosphere. “Such a lovely place on the water with a great ambiance, good food and live music daily. It's a fun place. We tried their file fish and liked it better than the grouper. Had the file fish Rubin and it was good. I had a grouper sandwich blackened and thought it was dry and the bun was hard but the side salad was an excellent choice instead of fries. It's a fun place to meet friends. Will definitely go back. Great service and wait staff was excellent!”

“This place is outstanding!!!! Whether you are looking for a coffee, a pastry or the best ice cream in the area you will find it here. The staff and the service are excellent. They are super friendly and helpful. I consider myself to be something of an ice cream connoisseur and let me tell you the ice cream here is the best you will find in the area. The offer specialty flavors every month and they are not to be missed. The coffee selection is great. They make a huge variety of coffee mixed drinks. I am a black coffee person and there coffee is not my favorite but it has pretty good flavor and is one I will drink. The only thing that I haven't tried here is the pies but I am certain that they are just as good as everything else here. Do yourself a favor and make the stop in!”
