I am a person that goes to many restaurants, and as a Venezuelan I love empanadas, they definitely sell the best empanadas in Miami, forget about superarepa, maxiarepa etc, Uchirena is the one that makes the best empanadas.
I felt like I was in a "Venezuelan Lunchería" and it was comfortable, just what we were looking for, the typical little corner selling empanadas, pastries and tequeños that are found throughout Venezuela in many places, for a moment I felt like I was in my native country. The empanadas were delicious, super resolved and with tremendous seasoning, the dogfish and seafood empanadas were one of the best I have ever eaten, the garlic sauce was delicious and the chicha was extraordinary....read full review

If you are Latin or Venezuelan, or if you want to try empanadas...this is the right place...for me, one of the best empanadas in Miami and surrounding areas. excellent option for breakfast and lunch...the only thing is that on weekends it is completely full and you have to wait...but that speaks for the quality of what they offer...recommended!!!
