This place has ambiance, affordable pricing and plenty of seating. Not to mention, outdoor seating which is awesome for kids friendly and just outdoor enjoyment on a nice day. The Cactus Grits are a must.Kid-friendliness: Outdoor seating allows for a more flexible dining experience for families.

This is a spacious place with a hangout to hang out. Vibe food is ok. I know alot of people who favor the Cantina but personally I really like Rio bravos food better though.

Shrimp quesadila was seasoned and was the utmost tasty. Service was excellent and very attentive. First time here with my boss, and I was amazed. I will be back again.
You can't beat $1.99 margs - and they're DELICIOUS! They're no syrupy at all and they are quite big too. The free chips and salsa are also very very good. I love the refried beans but was underwhelmed by the quesadilla - they use queso sauce instead of normal cheese, so if that's your thing then try it! Just not for me. Tuesdays here are the best!

Newly opened, Cactus Cantina Mexican Grill on Gregory Street. A must when visiting Pensacola or even a great hangout place for locals. Tradional Mexican flavor with a truly Southern Charm. Victoria commanded the bar and offered a friendly smile and a deep knowledge of all things Mexican. The Fajitas were just like my abuela made them (she's from Texas). This place quite literally stole my money. I and 3 of my friends came here to eat lunch. Everything was fairly okay until it was time to get our checks. At first we thought our server mixed 2 of our cards up but it was only a dollar difference so we figured that's whatever accidents happen and my friends all got the same thing whereas I got something different. Then I see my card is charged for 2 separate purchases-- one for 28.72 & the other for 29.13. I waited til the payments posted to call hoping it was just a weird mistake that would fix itself but it was not so I called them. The manager found what happened & was saying theyre"oh yes I spoke to your server she said she accidentally must have swiped your card twice" and I'm just like umm there were 4 separate checks, 4 separate cards, I don't understand how THAT happens. I can understand mixing up 2 but not swiping one card twice. I'm a server myself and I don't play around with people's money. He offered me a gift card and I said "no I don't go there often enough and I want MY MONEY back. It is not my fault if y'all lose out on money because of a mistake that never should've happened". The manager said "welllll I WAS gonna give you like a $30 / $35 gift card" im like no because that just goes straight back to yall eventually. That's not solving anything. I want a refund. I didn't want a refund for both either, even tho at this point maybe I did deserve that. I just wanted a refund for the extra payment I was charged. He said it would take a few days to go through and I understood that knowing how merchants work so I waited. They didn't even refund me the whole amount of that one payment. Just $13.57. HALF OF IT??? EXCUSE ME THATS SOME BS. I will never be eating from a place that screws around with people's money like this. I'm livid. I suggest yall take caution when eating here. Also the restaurant was not even busy. I'm not sure how many servers they had on but there were only a couple other tables in there.

After a crazy day and missing my flight… I walked into cactus cantina… sat at the bar and omg…Donovan was so chill and amazing I’ll now walk back to my motel feeling as if today wasn’t do bad… his recommendations were on point if only there was a Donovan every where I went… thank you sooo much for being so real and honest I might just have to fly me and my husband back for another one of your recommendations.. Cactus Cantina your food and atmosphere and employees are impossible to find anymore… well done❤️ oh and $2.00 margaritas that day!!! Yes!!!
