I recently ordered takeout from Shanghai II, a Chinese restaurant that I've visited in person before and loved. I recently visited Shanghai II, a Chinese restaurant that quickly became one of my new favorite spots in town. The restaurant has a classic, cozy vibe that I found really inviting.As I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff who directed me to a comfortable table. I had hopes that this would be different than those other take out Chinese quick fast food. It had her recommended to me by a foodie friend. Ordered a variety of different foods. Fried rice- yellow bland , tofu dish- overly salted. Flat. Lacking flavor. Vegetable stiirfry had different veggies in it but overcooked to the same texture and overly salty. A sad true disappointment
