Food ok , hibachi table chefs not very good. Better show at Waffle House. Little authenticity.

I have been to japan inn literally my whole life, tried this location for the first time and will never go back. Was charged double and a half for my happy hour drinks (and of course spoke up) so they gave me another which didn't even cost the total charge of what i payed. I asked for hibachi and asked for two meats only received one meat. Manager seemed to have attitude problems with me when i spoke up a SECOND time about an issue. I work in a restaurant i guest it mistakes happened but how manager handled it was disgusting. Never will return again. Server was great and understood my concerns. Chef might have just have forgotten as i never in my entire life had a problem here. -10/10

Poor quality food. The manager was very rude to the Uber driver and also to me. Shame on you.

In town visiting and decided to give Japan Inn a try. We were sat immediately but was busy for a weekday night. Our server was Nathan and he was great. Very attentive and nice. The restaurant seems a little older and dark, but usual for a hibachi restaurant. We ordered the Miami Hurricane Roll along with the chicken teriyaki and steak and shrimp combo. Meal came with soup, salad and veggies and fried rice. Overall, the food was great. The sushi was good. Not a fan of the teriyaki though. It wasn't the sweet type and more of a marinade taste. Next time I would just get the hibachi chicken instead. The steak was great and seasoned well.

I ordered x4 sets of California rolls and got shrimp tempura rolls instead, not even the right quantity . That makes absolutely no sense. The receipt prints out exactly what the order is and so does the service screen. I would like employees to pay attention to their work, because if it was their long waited food and hard paid money they would not appreciate such a mediocre clown mistake. Worst part is that it’s not like someone will go out their way to make you a fresh order and deliver it to you.

Our waitress check with us for any food allergy before she put in the order. Don't see that too often at a restaurant. The hibachi chef has very good skill, and our waitress was very attentive, we enjoyed a very pleasant lunch.

Typical hibachi experience, thankfully without much of the corny showmanship at many similar places. Good selection of food items. Huge portions, everyone departed with left overs. full bar. free parking. caution: gratuity included.

It's a nice place but I wouldn't recommend the Hibachi, I personally think it comes to be a little expensive considering watch you get, and that's basically grilled meat, grilled chicken and grilled shrimps with rice with vegetables; not to Asian I would say....
