Moved to Port Charlotte and drove by and saw Chubby z. The service at the bar was excellent, the girls behind the bar very friendly.Great Service, Food and Atmosphere.Love going there.

Hit or miss. Some of the wing flavors are better than others. Definitely go for the breaded ones. Worth it on their 1/2 off days. The water is pretty awful.4 years later, the water is better, at least.My wings came sitting in a large puddle of oil. My waitress didn't even write down the word "cripsy" when I was ordering my fries, they were limp and very sad. Another miss in the books.

We had the world's worst server. She disappeared after taking our order and we were served by asking other staff for things we needed....like our drinks that sat on the bar for 15 minutes. My cousins order was wrong....twice, and, she didn't even bring it. We were almost ready to leave with no check, but she finally brought it after 20 minutes of waiting. Horrible server. Food was ok...very loud and noisy even though they weren't terribly busy. We tipped the server that helped us more than ours....our server got no tip.

Wow !!!! It's been 9 or 10 yrs since we've stopped in to Chubby'z Grill. Tuesdays - Thursdays & Sundays are .75 cent wings. Hadn't been in a long time so why not !!?? They open at 11:00... we were there since we know that place can get really busy. Stepping inside, was just as we remembered it. They do have new tables & chairs for diners. They also have the outside Tiki Patio in back & the front has the deck. Brenda was out bartender today. What a delightful lady. Had some personality to go along with the good service. The menu is plentiful for almost whatever you are in the mood for.... Wings, Hamburger, BTL (which looked really good), & we saw a hoagie sandwich served at another table. Looked filling. We ordered our wings, with fries and along with a couple of cold ones, in a bottle !! The wings were meaty and tasty. Fries were crispy, long potato cut and quite soft on the inside. Delicious !! By 12:10.... They had quite a crowd. We will not wait so long and we will revisit Chubby'z again.

went on fish fry Friday, we had a table for 10. we arrived at 4 for reservation, waited 45 minutes to an hour for drinks. placed order for food and 4 out of ten received their meals. watched as parties came and left. not first time we have been to chubbys. not sure what happened but not happy! will not return for sure. just disappointe! not a snowbird live in Port Charlotte.

The food was good - deep fried Swai fish and a patty melt. The beer was COLD! Place was pretty clean, very loud inside. Service was slow, however, it was a Friday night and the wait staff did their very best. The prices were awesome considering this crazy economy. Would definitely go back!
