“I really enjoyed this spot! It's got a great history & a clever self-serve honor system I'm never seen before at a small local bar. I thought it was a unique take for the alcohol, but not so much for the "menu." It's a score card where you just check off your order & hand it to the server. It's very limited description of simple menu items, so there's a kind of "cross your fingers" this will be good feeling.I will say the oysters were great & I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the cheeseburger. The real star was the gumbo, though! LOVED IT! My only issue was the menagerie of hot sauces & condiments on the table. It's not unusual for a raw bar, but these were scarily foul. No lids & discolored liquids in HEAVILY crusted bottles with no labels. I'm just weird about things like that. STILL WORTH A STOP. Good beer selection & cool atmosphere. Don't forget to try the gumbo!“
“You do not have many choices for a place to eat in this area. so , I was a bit skeptical as to what I might get here. It turns out that it was a super stop. The wait staff was very friendly and engaging. the head cook/chef was approachable and great fun to talk with as well. I had the fish of the day (Red Drum) and my bride had the house cheeseburger. Both very good choices.Cape San Blass is an excellent beach area, and this is a very good lunch / dinner spot (maybe they do breakfast?? I don't know)Oh, I did use the bathroom. It was very clean.We'll stop by again if we are ever on the cape.“
“Tap Root is a great little open air bar in Port St Joe. This past week I was walking around PSJ taking photos and saw Tap Root next to the Goodwill store. I decided to stop by for a lunch beer, that lead into afternoon beers. :) Service was awesome and the beers on tap were cold and delicious. Highly recommend dropping into Tap Root for a cold one. There is also a slider truck next Tap Root if you want some food with your delicious beer.“
“Must read. I gave 5 star to be hidden.So been a loyal customer for 3 years.The drive threw lady was very rude!!!! The other morning I found a bug in my hashbrown. Called manager he took the part with the bug in it. This guy was super short with me.Didn't give any concern for the situation. Didn't ask if I wanted refund or nothing. Just broughtCome out with 2 dollars and some change. Now he didn't want talk to us at all. So I take the rest of our bag food. In to get a refund or maybe another meal. Instead He was very quuck to just refund the meatakes the cash money refunded“
“New management seems to be doing well! We went through the drive through with a huge order, and they missed a sandwich. We returned to correct it and the manager was VERY sweet and accommodating. Made sure we had a hot, fresh sandwich and extra goodies to make up for the mistake. I greatly appreciate the staff here working hard!“
“One of the best places you can go for food in a 50 mile radius. My husband and I would frequent this place 1 to 2 times a week for lunch. The prices are reflective of the quality and quantity of food (putter butter heifer an Philly wrap all the way!) the people who run this little food truck are so sweet and caring every time I pick up my call in order.“
