“I took my father here this passed fathers day along with my mom and uncle. We were looking for hibachi cooked at your booth/table so we were initially disappointed to see that they had downsized, but the server immediately addressed that concern and explained that they have had some trouble removing the photos on google still showing the old layout. That was much appreciated. We then proceeded to enjoy everything there from the gyoza appetizer to our Hibachi meals. They were perfectly cooked, just as they would have been in front of us, with generous portions and soup and salad included. Service was fantastic and we did not regret staying despite the downsize. Definitely recommend!”

“Had a decent overall experience going to Longhorn celebrating our anniversary. The hostess was kind and courteous and had us seated fairly quickly. The server was kind but checked in somewhat sporadically, although the place wasn't overly crowded it appeared there were very few servers so she was quite busy.

Food was overall decent. I thought their prices were overall reasonable and the flavors were good enough. I got the ribeye and they cooked it nicely but didn't leave me wowed. My wife got a parmesan crusted filet which she thoroughly enjoyed. Sides were good but not great.

Overall a decent dining experience. Probably wouldn't go back in favor of trying other places but definitely not a bad option if you're looking for a steakhouse in the area.”

This selection might just become my favorite at Cali’s. Granted, the staff consists of young adults who are, in the least, committed to going to work to earn their pay. Their attitude is encouraging. Some of the comments posted may not be fair. One has to allow opportunity for on-the-spot redress of an actual or perceived wrong (the menu is self-explanatory or can be clarified by simply asking). It has been a while since I dined at Mission BBQ at 10440 Stelling Dr, Riverview, FL 33578. The restaurant chain which has a heavy emphasis on honoring our military service members and our civil servants, reminds everyone who enters, of the heroes who make our country great. Photos of these hero’s from all branches of our armed forces, line the walls, as do a treasure trove of memorabilia. I went with my daughter recently to see if it was still the 5 star restaurant we last visited. As we approached the cash register to order, the appetizing aroma of brisket canceled my plans to look at the menu. Devlin, our host, took our order and explained why their French fries, which go through quite a carefully detailed, almost loving process, surpass all expectations of great fries. He was right. My daughter followed my lead, we ordered some side dishes including the fries and made our way to our table. When the food arrived my first choice was the trademark brisket cooked to perfection. As I savored the first bite, my daughter said, “Wait till you try the fries.” The rest is history. As we watched military veterans and civilian diners enjoying selections from Mission’s large menu, we knew this restaurant had 5 stars shining brightly. I’m a 22 year veteran of the United States Air Force. That being said, our hats are off to Karen the Community Ambassador who oversees daily operations to ensure the customer service experience is also worthy of 5 stars. It is. Did I mention, be sure to order the French fries when you visit?”

Our server, Jason was absolutely amazing accommodating and patient with our group which consisted of all age groups. My favorites include the Bananas Foster French Toast, the Baja Chicken Omelette, and the Creme Brûlée French Toast! Admittedly, my palate has not been exposed to authentic cuisine, on the island, (yet), and only recently have I become a "connoisseur in training" of Jamaican Cuisine. So, here's my non professional newbie opinion.😆I ordered the Jerk Chicken meal (meals come w/ 2 sides), Brown Stew Chicken meal, a side of Jerk Pork, and side of Jerk Chicken for my kid. Total cost was $55. The meal portions were large enough to split into two meals, even with my guy's LARGE appetite. The non-meal orders were also big! My sides were rice & peas, he had cabbage with his and said it was good. The pork is sooo tender, juicy, and tastes better than all of the places I've tried thus far. The brown stew chicken was flavorful, tender and delicious, better than the places I've tried. I'd 100% order them again. The Jerk Chicken was good, but hard to enjoy after tasting the first two. Service was friendly, and fast. They have covered, outdoor seating in case you want to dig in on site. My guy approved and so do I. We both agreed Junior’s Tasty Delights made the list of places we'd be back to. I'm thinking about ordering the Pork for lunch as I write this lol.”

“As a DJ, my main concern with any bar is safety—safety for me, the people I’m with, and when applicable, my equipment. The security staff does a great job identifying and handling any trouble makers—which comparatively speaking is lower than I’ve seen at other comparable bars. The bartenders work hard to keep the spirits flowing and the prices are fair. There’s an outdoor area for smoking, billiard, and darts (from what I’ve seen, you better bring your A game if you play here😉). There is no food served inside but there are two very good food trucks outside—Friday and Saturdays the truck is open until 3:30am.”

The food is always consistent, which is honestly one of the most important things with takeout. Every time we order, it tastes just as good as the last time. Orders are also ready incredibly fast, which makes it perfect when you just want to grab dinner without waiting forever.

The staff has always been very friendly whenever we come in, and the whole process is quick and easy. For Chinese takeout, it’s simply one of the best around.

It’s also pretty easy to get in and out of the plaza, which makes pickup simple. But the real reason to go is the food — the quality is noticeably better than most other places nearby.
