“I was visiting from out of town. The food was very good. The process is very much like chipoltle but with a healthier farm to table version of food. I thought it was going to be a sit-down restaurant. I was told the steak was a great option to go with along with the mac and cheese.. It did not disappoint. I got a mixture of rice and greens with the sweet potatoes. When thinking about this does not sound like the best combination. However, when you add the garlic aoili sauce, it is perfect. I like to mix my food up. I would definitely try another option should i visit tampa again.“

My party and I all ordered the tasting menu, and per the website I filled out the tasting menu accomodation request in advance as I have a seafood allergy. In email I was told it wasn't a problem and I was assured again by Sam when I was seated that it wouldn't be an issue.The very first course was an oyster amuse-bouche that I couldn't eat, and they didn't offer me any kind of alternative. I just had one less course than the rest of my party which was a very disappointing start to a meal that we spent nearly $1000 on. I would have also accepted an accomodation like a discount or a drink but they didn't offer anything like that. I want to be fair here that there is also a hamachi crudo dish on the tasting menu that they did offer me a delicious deviled egg alternative which was absolutely fantastic, so I didn't go completely unaccomodated, but it was still frustrating to have let them know weeks in advance, and confirmed at the door, and still been excluded from a course.“

Slow dinner shift on a Wednesday, had a very good live DJ despite the slowness of the evening. I hear that this place is a music venue as well. I'll definitely be coming back again and again to this place.“

I definitely do not consider myself an expert, and the fact they offer a wine tasting course every Wednesday is absolutely wonderful!we went on a Tuesday night (the 27th of Feb) and the gentlemen working there was awesome, I did not catch his name but he knows his stuff, made great descriptions of the wines and awesome recommendations. “-Ordered on Uber Eats-Bought a Regular Bolay and Strawberry Orange Juice, and while the price is a bit higher on Uber Eats, I think the quality of the food is very good!The Jasmine Rice was still soft, the steak was a nice portion on top in big chunks and not at all rare but rather well cooked, the mushrooms were very big, and the broccoli was slightly burnt on some and was kind of mixed on sizes.The best part of the bowl though, was the garlic sauce.The Strawberry Orange Juice was also very good, a recommendation if someone had never tried the combination together before.“
“What a treasure! We stopped to this restaurant on our way to a cruise out of Tampa. The server was very friendly and suggested some great entrees for us to try. Everything was great but those oysters were definitely something to talk about forever. They were fried perfectly. I don't like my seafood to be fried too hard with a lot of batter and these were absolutely perfect.The fried calamari was delicious and the hush puppies were great also.I will absolutely stop by again the next time I am in the city.“
“Happy hour is where it's at!! Regular prices are a bit much, but you can't beat a $4 well or $5 draft! Chill vibe, seemed like a nice place for locals and also for those like us, who came from out of town to see a show at the Ritz! Staff was super attentive, checking in multiple times to make sure we didn't need a new drink or want to order food. Around 5:30 things get a little dark and moody. The staff shut the lights out put or candle to get ready for the night life. Cute and subtle switch up, but it makes a big difference. We didn't order food personally, but the smells were smellin' in the best of ways! The table in front of us had two women, one ordered some kind of salad and the other ordered nachos. The nachos looked amazing and I did notice that the woman eating them did not finish the bowl, so they definitely could have been shared. If we end up here again the Nachos will be at the top of our list!“

“Not your average hotel restaurant. The menu had a lot of unique dishes. We had the mushroom pizza, a caesar salad with shrimp, guava BBQ wings (so delicious), burgers, and a rich chocolate lava cake. Our servers took great care of us and werre happy to explain the menu and make recommendations. Estaban, Jacob & Victoria were their names. A lot of the dishes were Puerto Rican or Puerto Rican inspired. Highly recommended.“

“After our flight in Atlanta was delayed and then cancelled, we were finally placed on the last flight out at 12:20am. I quickly made arrangements for a hotel in Brandon since we would be attending my Grandmother’s funeral there the next day. I first booked a holiday inn through my IHG app as a late check-in option since I was booking it after midnight. Since it was being booked so late, I wasn’t able to put in suggestions at the time of booking such as arrival time. I tried to call the hotel over and over before my flight took off and never could get anyone to pick up. Once we landed at 2am in Tampa, I tried again repeatedly to reach the hotel to talk to someone about our arrival time. However, since I booked the late check-in option at 12:30am, I assumed it would be okay. Once we arrived at 3am after picking up our rental car and driving 20 minutes, I quickly realized why nobody would pick up all night. The receptionist was on a personal call and seemed bothered by our arrival. He had a difficult time finding my reservation, and finally accepted my suggestion to use my confirmation number. Once he located my reservation, he told me it was cancelled because of my late arrival. I explained that I booked a late check-in merely 3 hours prior and tried to explain our situation. He then told me that he could reinstate my reservation, which seemed like an easy fix. I asked if we would be able to extend check-out so we could try to get more sleep before my grandmother’s funeral, and he quickly told me no, that he couldn’t do that. He then told me because he already did an audit for the night, that he would have to charge us for two nights, nearly $700, to stay for only 6 hours. He had absolutely no empathy that this was 3am and me, my husband, and our son had been traveling all day to try to get to this funeral. He took a bad day, and made it so much worse. I asked him to cancel the reservation and that we will just sleep in our rental car if we have to. Thankfully, I called courtyard Marriott 7 miles down the road and they were more than willing to accommodate us, including a military discount, which ended up being about half of the price as Holiday Inn, a late check-out, and offered their condolences. The gentleman working at the front desk showed empathy and prevented my family from sleeping in a car at 3am hours before a funeral. Everyone was pleasant and a breath of fresh air compared to what we encountered down the road at holiday inn express. Empathy goes a long way and because of this desk clerk, we are Marriott customers for life. Marriot for the win!“

Wings were amazing (try the Dukes dry rub) and best price in town! Burger was delicious, massive and cooked EXACTLY how I like it with fresh fries and mashed potatoes that my son devoured!
