“First time visiting here for a bridal shower and it was absolutely gorgeous! The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a unique vibe. We had a bridal shower brunch and they accommodated our party easily. The table was decorated so cute, along with custom “she said yes” menus that each guest got to order from! I had the French toast for brunch and it was a delicious, although a little sweet for my taste (I’m team savory for brunch always). Drinks were good, along with their craft sodas which were delicious! Would definitely recommend in the future and will be back for other meals!“

“This place holds a special place in my heart. We have celebrated so many milestones at this restaurant (last night we were celebrating my sister) and the food and attention did not disappoint. We don’t drink and it seems it’s usually judged a bit but our server was so lovely about it, didn’t try to sell things we would not go for. We did end up ordering some of his recommendations. The one dish we keep on repeat when we go is the Spanish Octopus, it is absolutely outstanding, the octopus is tender and flavorful. Last night we added the Mushroom truffle pizza, Chicken Marsala, and Scottish salmon. Every single dish was so deliciously perfect. Lastly, desert we had Mango gelato. I am sorry I do not remember the name of our server so I can sing more praises to him because it was a truly lovely mother, daughter’s evening and he was on point, allowing us to enjoy our time together..The only note I have which I almost don’t want to mention but my mom was a little bothered by the music last night. We thought the indoor music was a little loud.Parking: Not many free parking options, but there are plenty of parking lots around $10 on a Friday night with no special events.Wheelchair accessibility: I am not a wheelchair user, but the restaurant is mostly flat, making it easy to access. “I was visiting from out of town. The food was very good. The process is very much like chipoltle but with a healthier farm to table version of food. I thought it was going to be a sit-down restaurant. I was told the steak was a great option to go with along with the mac and cheese.. It did not disappoint. I got a mixture of rice and greens with the sweet potatoes. When thinking about this does not sound like the best combination. However, when you add the garlic aoili sauce, it is perfect. I like to mix my food up. I would definitely try another option should i visit tampa again.“

My party and I all ordered the tasting menu, and per the website I filled out the tasting menu accomodation request in advance as I have a seafood allergy. In email I was told it wasn't a problem and I was assured again by Sam when I was seated that it wouldn't be an issue.The very first course was an oyster amuse-bouche that I couldn't eat, and they didn't offer me any kind of alternative. I just had one less course than the rest of my party which was a very disappointing start to a meal that we spent nearly $1000 on. I would have also accepted an accomodation like a discount or a drink but they didn't offer anything like that. I want to be fair here that there is also a hamachi crudo dish on the tasting menu that they did offer me a delicious deviled egg alternative which was absolutely fantastic, so I didn't go completely unaccomodated, but it was still frustrating to have let them know weeks in advance, and confirmed at the door, and still been excluded from a course.“

Slow dinner shift on a Wednesday, had a very good live DJ despite the slowness of the evening. I hear that this place is a music venue as well. “On Friday night we went out for a fancy dinner. We asked our lovely waitress if she could recommend breakfast for the next day as we are unfamiliar with the area. She responded that they served brunch as well but she would instead recommended Daily Eats! This meant a fifteen minute drive rather than a two minute walk for us but it turned out to be well worth it. We arrived on Saturday morning at 8:10 and it was already busy. Our server said by nine that there would be a wait and he was right. We had a really great meal and the service was excellent. My wife had the Captain Crunch bowl even though she was unsure of the flavor combos and she ended up really enjoying it. She said it really meant a lot that she didn't have to use a single drop of syrup! She also loved that it catered to both her sweet tooth and savory craving. I got an Alaskan bowl and they were very accommodating in my request of poached eggs instead of scrambled. I got it over tots and it was fantastic! Great cup of coffee as well. No pics because it looked so good that I forgot and began to devour it quickly.Parking: There's a good sized lot but it can still get quite full when busy.“

“Doc B's is easily one of my favorite places for a quick dinner, especially for their salads. They have a good variety of different kinds and the portions are huge! I always end up taking some to go. If you pop in for lunch I suggest trying one of their wok bowls that you can customize. Even on busier days you never have to wait long to be served. Doc B's has a vibe for everyone: outdoor seating in the sunshine, intimate dining inside, and a bartop that always has sports on rotation.“

“Overall, this restaurant has a great atmosphere, friendly service and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. Parking is easy and free. I would like to point out a few things that made this experience a little less enticing. My old fashioned was in a very heavy, medium-sized glass, which made the pour look very small. It just felt odd to drink from this glass as an avid consumer of this style of drink. Also, the large ice cube actually melted entirety before I could finish it which I have never had happen before. I literally walked from the bar to my table and before my steak arrived the cube was gone, which watered down my cocktail. I'm not sure if they use half size cubes, but there was plenty of room in that glass for a full sized cube to make that drink better. The drink tasted fine, but using a shorter, lighter glass with a large cube would make it more consistent with the swanky style of that cocktail.Another thing that was odd, was we ordered the lobster topped steak special for the night at $48. It came out with a full plate of french fries, like a meal from a diner. It may just be my opinion, but if we are going to order a meal that is $50, some elevated sides to accompany lobster may be more appropriate than fries. They were cold, and the steak needed more seasoning, so that didn't help either. I did have the filet mignon prepared medium rare and it was perfect. Again, it could have also had more flavor to the meat, but for $46 it was great with a loaded baked potato and Béarnaise sauce.The best part was the lemon cheesecake with raspberry sauce. It was refreshing and delicious. I definitely recommend that with an espresso martini. It was a little on the creamy side, but made well to accompany a dessert.Overall, this restaurant is perfect to celebrate a special occasion or grab a bottle of wine from their huge selection. It just doesn't compare steak wise to other more elevated restaurants in the area. The menu selections were very diverse with many different options, that they didn't really specialize in one thing.“

“Mad Dogs is a fun locals' spot with good food, proper pints and friendly staff and regulars! A local recommended this place to me while I was on a business trip. They have a small outside bar and seating area that is more like a front porch at your buddies house. The inside has several tables and another bar area. I sat at the the inside bar where you get full service and menu. They have a couple tvs and when the bar tender/manager saw me watching a game on my phone he changed the channel for me without asking. The beer tap offering is up to snuff with a few English pints of which to choose. Their menu has several English, Irish and American choices. I chose the fish and chips (pic attached). It was perfect. The fish was hot, crispy and delicious. The amount of hand it fries was ridiculous but they were salted well and hot. Everyone knew each other and they made me feel welcomed. It was such a good experience I'll be back to try the burger soon!“

“Happy hour is where it's at!! Regular prices are a bit much, but you can't beat a $4 well or $5 draft! Chill vibe, seemed like a nice place for locals and also for those like us, who came from out of town to see a show at the Ritz! Staff was super attentive, checking in multiple times to make sure we didn't need a new drink or want to order food. Around 5:30 things get a little dark and moody. The staff shut the lights out put or candle to get ready for the night life. Cute and subtle switch up, but it makes a big difference. We didn't order food personally, but the smells were smellin' in the best of ways! The table in front of us had two women, one ordered some kind of salad and the other ordered nachos. The nachos looked amazing and I did notice that the woman eating them did not finish the bowl, so they definitely could have been shared. If we end up here again the Nachos will be at the top of our list!“

Some of my favorite items were the Fred's Roasted Chicken and Buttermilk Bacon Wedge salads. Brought my husband here for a date night one evening and he liked it a lot as well. Unique place that has New York City vibe. Not a large menu, but enough to be able to choose items anyone enjoys. Service is always great starting from hostesses ending with servers and I absolutely love that they had multiple employees sign a card for me wishing me a happy birthday. It’s so nice to have a great meal and then go walk along Bayshore. Their outdoor area is great for fresh air and sunshine, and we frequently bring our dogs. James, by far, is our FAVORITE SERVER. He is super friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable. Every time we go to Counter Culture, we request James. One evening when James was not working, Lyndi served us and also provided excellent service. We had the mushroom pizza, a caesar salad with shrimp, guava BBQ wings (so delicious), burgers, and a rich chocolate lava cake. Our servers took great care of us and werre happy to explain the menu and make recommendations. Estaban, Jacob & Victoria were their names. A lot of the dishes were Puerto Rican or Puerto Rican inspired. Highly recommended.“

“Ponte does not disappoint! I took my husband there last night for his birthday and from start to finish, it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere is elegant and modern but not ostentatious or garish. The food and drinks were creative, expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and unbelievably delicious. And I cannot say enough about the staff. From Samantha, the hostess; Tyler, the manager; Bill, our server; and Matt, the sous chef; to the young man serving the bread and the multiple other staff who kept our water glasses full, everyone was professional, pleasant, knowledgeable and engaging. Samantha, in particular, handled a very aggressive and arrogant disgruntled man in the most diplomatic and professional manner. And this man was so aggressive that my husband and I almost intervened on Samantha’s behalf. But her diplomacy and professionalism did not waiver. To say she impressed us is an understatement. All in all, this was by far one of the best, if not the best restaurant experiences we have ever had. We will definitely return.“
