“We discovered this tiny gem when looking for a quick bite. It is a waterfront location tucked away off the main road. The owners (I think) were extremely pleasant and all the food appeared to be made from scratch. The sandwiches were absolutely enormous and were served on homemade bread, sliced thick. My husband and I shared a breakfast sandwich and took a sandwich to share while kayaking later. Both were delicious! We will definitely go back to try some of the desserts.“

“Absolutely love this place. Great protein shakes, teas, coffees and food! Really affordable too for the amount you get. Combo is only $15 for any drink and food paired together. Lizzie and Simon are awesome, they are friendly and make you feel welcomed, they keep their store clean and equipment too. This place is across from my gym and absolutely love to go here to boost my energy or to grab my fave drink, Dragon slayer, before work! Definitely recommend this place. ? “Absolutely loved the vibe here at Markos Diner, the staff are fantastic, very friendly. The atmosphere is amazing and has that 60’s diner feel, all hail the Fonz! Haha, we are visiting from Canada and got the pleasure of finding this gem, was greeted at the table by the owner David. The staff are friendly. Such a great guy. “GREAT LOCAL CAFE here in SWFL !! MacGregor blvd. has a lot of places to stop in for desserts and coffee. However this cafe offers more. Home-made soups and sandwiches, danish's,and cookies. Atmosphere, is warm, inviting, and comfortable The home-made ice cream is absolutely amazing! "THEY ALSO CATER" highly recommended to stop in become a regular.“

“Sanibel Cafe is a must when you come to Sanibel - the ambiance and service is unmatched. Our kids had the m&m pancakes (yummy), we had the sanibel omelette and the breakfast quesadilla - both were so yummy! “First off our waiter Nancy was so nice and just awesome to have as a server. The food is amazing I love this place no matter what you order I promise you you will go back. Visit this place you won't regret it they have a wide variety menu. This time I got the turkey bacon club because I love a good sandwich and the soup I want that recipe.Went there bout 2 weeks ago and the waitress something about her don't sit right with me she bring me a dirty spoon and not just that a small peace of glass was in the soup. Showed her she didn't look surprised and as she's looking at it she drops it and then act like she didn't see it. Everytime we find a good restaurant it's always something but we won't be back there sorry I bragged about y'all to everyone but now it's y'all lost two customers because I'm never going back.“

“What a great time we had, lunch every day and the Chef prepared a special meal by order too. It was handy to not have to cook and have such a nice meal. Dan made great cocktails and all the servers were so friendly. A great fun atmosphere.“

“We arrived about 45minutes before closing + they (about 3 staff members) were doing their clean up. We said we’d hurry and sit outside. They were so kind and reminded us that they didn’t close until 2 and that we were more than welcome to stay inside if we wanted to. They even told us about the park across the street, as we were visiting with young kiddos. Very friendly staff, welcoming environment, + their cold brew with oat milk was absolutely delicious!! Our 7-year daughter got a smoothie + ? from her as well. Thanks!!“
