“Very nice, busy with takeout, but still nice and quiet on porch and deck! Many fancy pastries to tantalize you. Egg and cheese croissant was fantastic. Very friendly ,We will be back !”
“This was a fun stop! We just found it online and said why not! Well it was the best decision!! The cook even checked up on us to make sure everything was good! Of course it was good! Shrimp burger! Wow. Everything was fresh and yummy!”
“Exactly what I was looking for in my Tiki bar. Low key atmosphere like the name implies. Friendly staff, and Blackened fish tacos I will come back for every time I am in Florida. I saw a cook your own catch option for the folks who fish.Dietary restrictions: Nothing labeled Gluten free, but was no expectation for it due to type of restaurant.”
“Great dining experience right on the water - great menu selection - great drinks, great view, amazing service!! Everything was great! Our waitress was super!! She had just gotten back from a vacation in Costa Rica.Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu!”
“I've been many times and have always had delicious food. Pizzas, fried chicken sandwich, Philly cheese steak, chicken tacos, but my favorite is the fried Haddock sandwich.Parking: Steph is a great cook and she usually checks up with customers to make sure they are satisfied and happy with their food. I'm enjoying new items on the menu too.”
“It was super loud inside...we chose to eat inside as it is lovebug season and the bugs were crazy bad.(not the restaurants fault)..but the acoustics in the place are bad...we couldn't carry on a conversation across the table ..on a better note the food was pretty good, but I did have to hunt down the menus and find our waitress after 20 minutes.”
“Does a GREAT TAKE OUT business! The food is GOOD! Fast Service. It's "warm" inside as they are always cooking fresh! Good size portions! Healthy, fast food!Vegetarian options: Probably”
“The food was not as good as what the reviews claimed. The steak fajitas portion were huge, but the meat was tough. The tostadas were good. I was expecting more flavour, not American-Mexican. The staff and atmosphere really made us feel welcome. Our server Krystal was awesome!!”
“I had my reception for my wedding here, and it was fabulous. Making a reservation was easy, we were seated at a reservation time, the food was absolutely delicious, they even kept my wedding cake in the back for us until the end of dinner and brought it out.”
“Wow!! We struck gold here!! The service was 200% amazing, food...(hey...Gordon Ramsay, this Chef would definitely please you!) Krystian was Manager, came table to table (impressive)! And Ayoub delighted us with recommendations and tips about Morocco (where we're visiting soon)...The food was one of the best meals we've ever had and we're world travelers 10 months a year ....Vegetarian options: They will make you happy!Parking: Plenty of parking when we visited in April”
“Outstanding gelato and sorbet, and phenomenal service! Truly great experience. This guy (not sure of his name) cares deeply about his homemade deserts. We’ll be back again.”
“There were so many flavors to choose from! The ice cream was so delicious and creamy. The staff working there were very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend and I’m sure we will be frequent customers!”
“Fish is super fresh and done to perfection. Wait staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Nice sitting on the waters edge and having a nice meal! Oh, I should aldo mention the key lime pie is the absolute best!”
“I had a wonderful experience at the German Schnitzel-House in Fort Myers and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy authentic German cuisine. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we felt as though we were in Germany. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with loving decorations that perfectly capture the German flair. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, ready to make recommendations and answer any questions about the dishes. We felt very welcomed and well taken care of.Now, onto the food – simply heavenly! The schnitzel was perfectly prepared, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It was served with a selection of sides, all of which were fresh and delicious. The selection of German beers was also impressive and the perfect complement to our meal.In summary, our visit to the German Schnitzel-House was an unforgettable experience. The combination of warm service, authentic ambiance, and exquisite cuisine definitely deserves five stars. I'm looking forward to my next visit!”

“went here for the first time and didn't know they had a buffet until we arrived. really enjoyed the selection and the food was great! servers were kind and helpful. “The best seafood we have had in Cape Coral. Every plate of fish and lobster was cooked perfectly. Service was excellent and prices were reasonable. We have two younger kids and I can't remember seeing them finish their plates so fast.”
“A good place to have lunch in Matlacha. It can be a little hit or miss with the quality varying between good and very good. If the weather is nice it's fantastic to eat on their outside deck. There's a decent amount of parking at the restaurant but on a busy day it can be a challenge to find a place to park.Update 5 years later (original review 2018): Still an excellent choice for lunch or dinner if you're visiting Matlacha or Pine Island (or just want to drive over from Cape Coral or Ft. Myer). If you've never had mullet before, try their Mullet Sampler Platter. You'll be amazed. It's listed as a "Starter" on the menu but it's enough to be an entree, and every bite of it is delicious: smoked mullet dip, blackened mullet (incredible), and fried mullet.”
“Every body was nice. I love the lobsters.it was nice and comfortable. I definitely recommend this place.Parking: There was good amount of parking spotsKid-friendliness: They gave the kids popsicle at the endWheelchair accessibility: The parking spot where close to the restaurant”
“One of my favorite places here on the island. Fantastic food and service. The seafood pasta is phenomenal and nothing short of. The bartender Kris upstairs is a sweetheart and awesome!!! She makes the BEST dirty martinis!”
“The food here is awesome! My husband and I had the spicy chicken gyro with fries and it was amazing. Haven't had food that good in a long while. We will be returning!”
“Sunny days so brisk and sweet Amores is the place to eat. Miles and miles of sandwiches & smiles. I tried the Daniela special which is truly as amazing as she is. Specialty hand crafted sandwich made with premium roasted ham, Swiss cheese, mayo, vinegar, spicy pickled pepper relish and lettuce. If your looking for a perfect mix of sweet and spicy you have to go see Daniela and the rest of the crew. Don’t forget to grab a variety of delicate delightful deserts on the way out.”
“Four of us shared a wonderful meal, starting with an appetizer of Greek cheese in filo drizzled in honey, served with warm pita bread- amazing! Everyone was moaning in pleasure as we dug into our delicious entrees. My daughter and I each ordered a shrimp dish, which we shared, one with pasta, another with rice and I can't say which was more delicious. They were both so flavorful and complex and we took home plenty for lunch as the portions were huge. The service was attentive and welcoming, and the restaurant itself is newly decorated, clean and fresh. I would eat here again in a heartbeat and I certainly will next time I'm in Fort Myers. I have been to Greece and this food is the genuine article- Run, don't walk, to get yourself a fabulous meal!”
“Ordered take-out. Got the blackened shrimp platter with seasonal vegetables and chicken sausage jambalaya. It was delicious. The dozen shrimp were cooked perfectly! The seasonal vegetables were good with just the right amount of seasoning. The jambalaya had lots of chicken and andouille sausage. Yum, I will certainly be back before my vacation is over. Service was quick and courteous. Highly recommended!”
“This is one of my favorite places for breakfast when Im in Cape Coral/Fort Myers area. The staff is beyond friendly, your choice of indoor or outdoor seating and the food is amazing. Never had a bad experience here.”
“THE BEST frozen dessert place. We were visiting the area and called into the Frozen Flip Flop on a Monday, they were closed. But the owner was dropping something off and invited us in and served us anyway. What a lovely person, gorgeous froyo and a great array of toppings. Go here, you won't regret it.”
