We visited here while on a pub-crawl. The barkeep was a sweetheart and made the best vodka cran that I'd had all day. One of the people in my party droped a glass and she treated us with respect and kindnes.

I've lived in Orlando and the Central Florida area for 40+ years now (since 1980) and I find this particular bar to be my favorite! It has all of the things that I look for in choosing a local watering hole and bar: pool tables, smoking, good locals supporting the place regularly, "cheap" liquor, and a great staff dedicated to providing quality service to their patrons. All of the bartenders here are outstanding (a new gal named Mary on Thursday night was great!), but a young woman named Canemi deserves a shout out now from me (fyi - it can be a little confusing at first because many folks there also call her Sheena LOL!). She makes everyone immediately feel welcome and extremely comfortable from the get go. That's of primary importance to me whenever I enter a new establishment & environment. This bartender sincerely greeted me the 1st time I was there, asked me about myself and then actually introduced me to those regulars who shared my interests (in my case it was the regulars who liked playing pool like I do).After a couple of great experiences over the next several months at the bar an AMAZING thing actually happened: I realized that this Lady was the best bartender in town!! Come in some afternoon (I believe Tuesdays, Thursday & Saturdays?) and find out for yourselves what every local already knows - Lies and Alibis is the best "dive bar" in town!Lastly there is a family atmosphere and a great cross-section of nice people in there. If you're living in the area or even perhaps just visiting Sanford or Orlando, come and see where the locals go and have a great time. And why the smart ones come here. I highly recommend this place!!
