Family of 5 dropped by about an hour before sunset on a Thursday. No wait and table outside to watch the sun set.Blackened Red Snapper, shrimp basket, mahi mahi basket, quinoa bowl, and shrimp Dos tacos. It all arrived correctly and was delicious. Portions were generous and flavorful. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxing. Service was top tier for the area. We will return on the next trip to the area. Only had two drinks. Total was $b210 efore tip

We decided to visit Fish Out Of Water last minute when The Bay had too long of a wait. The restaurant itself seemed nice, however the food was very lackluster. The prices seemed a tad high for the food. Had the food been good in flavor, then I could see paying $22 for a chicken finger basket. The wait ended up not being the full 45 minutes they quoted us, so that was nice but it ended up taking forever for our food to come out. We had a party of 9 so it taking a little longer is understandable I guess, but not an hour. I got the sweet tea chicken breast with seasonal veggies and mashed potatoes. The veggies had good flavor but were soggy, the chicken was ok and the potatoes were good. My Husband had the Wagyu burger and said it was good. The Pimento cheese appetizer was good. Nothing else really worth mentioning.

The restaurant and staff were great however the food was not great. We had the grouper sandwich, shrimp and andouille, blackened Grouper and the Ceviche. Very bland. Grouper was overcooked and rubbery. Will skip this place next time.

Beautiful views of the gulf. Food is pretty good and it’s kid-friendly. Also nice to go without kids and sit at the bar outside.

Great view and service. Menu had good options. The grouper dinner was excellent. The grouper tacos were good but not great. Would probably get something else the next time. Would definitely return. Very nice restaurant but still family friendly

It was a great family dinner and the snapper filet special was terrific . The Mac and cheese was to die for and not to mention our Server Great Smith he was very helpful , jovial and was very attentive thank you for a great night . His service was terrific.
The literal BEST frose on 30A. I have been obsessed with this place since I brought my family several years ago, and now I've initiated all of my girlfriends to the FOOW Frose Club. We had to pop into Seaside for a quick errand, and my girlfriends had a couple of us tuck and roll out of the car, so they could come to FOOW for Frose.I haven't had food here since my first visit, but everything looks delicious. The atmosphere is also lovely - especially if you can get a spot on the patio.

This should be 5 star for the food. We will get to why it isn't in a minute. Before that, let's talk first about the Key Lime Pie. Wow!!! I am picky about Key Lime Pie and usually try it wherever we eat. This legit is the BEST Key Lime Pie I have ever eaten. Freaking Fantastic!! Delicious!! PERFECT!!! Huge graham cracker crust with not a hint of sogginess. Perfect creamy lightly toasted meringue with a rich, creamy smooth texture. Again, perfect!! No stickyness, no hardness to the top layer. Absoultely the standard by which all meringue should be measured. First of all, the pie is made with Key Limes not just regular limes, giving it the perfect super tart contrast to the creamy richness of the meringue, the crunchy sweetness of the graham cracker crust and the gentle sweetness of the filling. Again ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!My burger was adequate. I will not have the burger again. The beef was bland. Honeslty the burger is disappointing here. All the other food we have had at FOOW is so good, the mediocre burger feels out of place - hence the 4 star on the food. The Wahoo was very good (both my wife and my friend loved it). The grouper was also very good. My wife's friend loved it. The only thing disappointing was the burger. It was not up to par with the seafood. This is my second mediocre burger. I thought the first might be a fluke, so I tried again. Nope, FOOW just makes mediocre burgers. Skip the burger and have the fish and the Key Lime Pie or stop in for a snack and have the Key Lime Pie and a coffee. The Key Lime Pie, fish, the service and the location/atmosphere are awesome and the Key Lime Pie classiifies as the best I have ever had - don't skip the pie!!!!

Food was excellent. However, my wife's grouper was a 1.5" x 4" sliver that didn't approach its $36 price, nor its competitors. Service seemed slow.

Definitely has gone downhill. Slow. Food not as good as previous years. unfortunately it seems they've stopped paying wait staff and chefs to have a high quality of service.

Waitress was very kind however had to wait two hours to eat. The food was alright. My shrimp was too salty though and the prices were astronomical high for its quality. It was only decently because of its friendly staff but would not come back for the food. Drinks were delicious though.
