Unique steakhouse in Sarasota that offers full butcher’s shop. The service was good at the lunch hour and she was patient with us having never been to the restaurant. The Delmonico steak was cooked to the perfect temperature, but the filet mignon sandwich was over cooked and chewy. The bun for the filet was perfectly toasted with savory sautéed onions on top. The battered fires (corrected order) and green beans were our favorite part of our meal the most sizable portion. Be prepared to pay traditional steakhouse prices even for this unique hole in the wall steakhouse.Parking: Parking lot can be tight for large vehicles.

Although the steaks were good, my mashed potatoes were cold as was someone else in my party’s beef stroganoff. Service was terrible. Bartender was servicing tables too. I expected a much better experience based on the prices. Would never go back.

I visited for the first time yesterday; got a strip steak and chicken noodle soup to go. Both exceptional. Steak is pricey at $40.00/lb. but that's likely what you need to pay for a Prime cut these days. I'll definitely return for dining in.

The server Desiree was coughing at the table! Very obviously sick and refused to wear a mask!!! She was also very rude about our orders, complaining to other servers about us around the corner from us. Awful service, will not be returning.

The entrees at Alpine are a la carte. Our meals included a delicious strip steak, tasty ribs and cowboy steak. The onion rings and grilled asparagus were good. The crab cakes had a nice flavor but consisted of only two small patties. Our server was very nice and attentive. I definitely liked the trendy rustic decor. There is a butcher counter located inside the restaurant for take out items.
One of the best steakhouses in Sarasota. The steaks are juicy, tender, and cooked perfect. Add in an inviting atmosphere and friendly service and you have a place you do not want to miss.
So this is a really interesting combination spot. With a high-end butcher shop all in the same space it's very very cool. I was looking for something very specific, tasso ham, and they carried it so I made the drive up from Venice. I picked up a few other things and wish I'd had time to sit down and have a late lunch.

Came because reviews were good but was disappointed. Service and atmosphere were decent. Food was ok but my food was nowhere near worth the price. Portions were extremely underwhelming. The steak was overcooked and the mashed potatoes tasted like they came out of the box. Wouldn’t come back.
