Puerto Rican Restaurants in Sarasota, FL

“Having married into a rather large Puerto Rican family, and visiting them in their new found homes in Sarasota/Bradenton FL, I was amazed having a 20+ family reunion at the Latin Quarter restaurant- it was like being back in PR again! The amazing food ( Mofongo, Bacalaitos, Tostones, etc) The service, ambience, decor, and friendliness were " muy simpatico!“

“First time I try this place for lunch. I typically do not eat mofongo because I haven’t had the best experience with this puerto-rican dish. But this place changed my perspective on this dish, its amazing! Uff so juicy. I ordered the steak mofongo. This mofongo delicious, so savory and moist. It was not dry like my experiences in the past. The flavors- oh wow, the garlic, the onion, it had a little bit of broth at the bottom, which was delicious on the plantains, the sliced steak was great. Definitely a meal for two people. The food exceeded my expectations. They have 1 dollar empanadas on Wednesdays- which are huge!! I wish I would have taken a picture of my meal. Not everyone has the same experience but glad to say mine was great!! Give them a try for lunch, sit outside, grab a beer and some mofongo! They willdefinitely be seeing me again!“
