Best PARRILLA I have had in the USA .I am originally from Uruguay and have visited restaurants from Uruguay or Argentina in different states and RIO DE LA PLATA IN SARASOTA is hands down the best. The best food in Florida is found at places just like this; small ethnic restaurants run by wonderful people from these countries. This is Argentinian and Uruguayan, but the menu sure looks Italian. I've had half a dozen dishes here so far and they're all really good. Prepared fresh. Wonderful ingredients. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated with nice music. Big surprise, there will probably be a soccer game on the TV. I'm a big fan.
We had the Filet Mignon, Empanadas, Chorizo and Tiramisu everything was perfect, delicious. The service was kind and friendly. Highly recommended!!!
