Came here with family, was expecting the food to be a lot better, it was not great. Also the kid with the glasses hosting was aggressive and gave a hostile vibe. We had originally asked to be outside, then changed to inside because it was cold. I thought he must just be having an off night. Left and have a parting greeting, kid looked at me like I was a moron. Whatever. Food sucked.

You gotta go here for the seafood including lobster, crab and scallops! Stay for the atmosphere and enjoy the view of the Indian River where dolphins might come and put on a show! Bring your appetite and enjoy!!

The music was extremely (unbearably) loud…it ruined the dining experience. Had to plug ears with napkin. Even though we saw others complain/watched another table leave because of it and tried to reason with the manager- she refused to do anything about it. We won’t be returning.
Terrible experience, do not make reservations because you are still put on a list first come first serve, very small place, went there at 6 was put on a waiting list when I had reservations. They lost about 500.00 dollars from our party we had. TELL THE CUSTOMERS WE DONT TAKE RESERVATIONS. They did text us at 7:30 that our table was ready but we already left to go somewhere else where we got a table right away. We were done eating at the other restauant when we received our text from them at 7:30 that our reserved table was ready.

Had reservations for 6 people at 6pm, arrived at 5:40, place was a mad house. We were told they will text phone next available table, we checked acouple times on table finally left at 6:30 NO TABLE YET. We went to Mulligans got seated right away, finally got a text at 7:27 table was ready at Crab Stop. REALLY!!! NO WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS, why have reservations????First time there, NEVER AGAIN!
Nothing special about this place. If you’re hungry, it is on the river. Lobster bisque, clam chowder and hush puppies are average, just nothing spectacular.

The food is amazing and service is great the atmosphere is great. The only complaint is hindsight we didn't count what was is our ultimate feast and with out the menu sitting in front of us couldn't really, but after we finished and were like I had this much of this and you had this much of that. Our math came up short. So my advice would be to count before you start digging in and address it up front. We dropped a lot of money and fell like we were shorted.

Prices a little bit steep for and occasional stop in . Food was good , service good, but as I said,a little pricey. The top meal was $ 169.95 . Ordered the $ 69.95 meal and all was good. As I said, not an every day stop.
What a wonderful time we had here! Our family from out of town came to visit last Saturday. We wanted to take them to a nice restaurant on the water, so happy we stumbled upon this place!The service was great, from the second I called to make a reservation, to the minute we all left full and happy. Our server was very attentive, and the food was OUTSTANDING! Best seafood I have ever had, and the prices matched the portions. We will definitely be back to the Crab Stop!
