“This must be probably the BEST bar I have ever visited. And the visit was totally unplanned, and it was Alice’s 84th birthday. This place has an absolutely different charm. The folks are friendly and wonderful. The owner, Alice and her team are super. Some of the most wonderful people I have met. This is a place for must visit. Greatest bar in the forest!“

“Great place to be. Staff is awesome, specials are great. There is one downfall, the customers. Some things have changed in recent weeks and some customers are acting like children trying to sabotage the place. Grow up, business decisions are made, no need to sabotage the place. If it weren't 30 min from home I'd be here more often“

“Where do I start; the fried calamari was exquisite. Fresh and delicious. CRAWFISH ETOUFFÉE was also very good. The chicken and grits was another favorite. Almost forgot. The she crab soup was another rich and flavorful addition. This was a very good enjoyable place for some outstanding food with family and friends. Highly recommended.“

“Holy cow did we not leave a review for this place? We were intent on doing some day drinking and wound up here. The bartender was playing slightly stoopid radio and when we walked in Stick Figure was on so yeah, we found our place. This is a pirate bar, so youve been warned. We normally hit the tiki place next door and Mutiny is pretty loud and rowdy when we pass by. Lunch and early afternoon when we were there was pretty low key. We drank some dark and stormys, listened to some gnarly tunes and pestered the bartender about this and that, bands and the local music scene, and chilled for awhile. I have to point out the bartender does not always play calireggae music, its just what happened to be on. Well I think they should! This bar is not for everybody, it is a pirate bar, and should be approached as such. I would not hesitate to come back and i certainly would recommend this joint to my friends“

“Very Friendly little bar. So rating it as that, a bar only. It is Not a restaurant! Was very quiet when I went in there (Monday night). Staff friendly and made us feel very welcome. I'm told it gets busy at the weekend and has live music. Also heard they have stand-up comedy every other week. Need to clarify the schedule on that, but believe it is during the week. Look forward to checking that out.“
