The freshest, sweetest, most savory delicate nigiri and sashimi. Even our children adore the sushi here. This is traditional sushi; if you’re looking for ‘rock and roll’ sushi and non-sushi dishes, this is not your place. There’s no cream cheese in the sushi here (thank goodness lol).We usually order chutoro (I find it less fishy than otoro), uni (they have Japanese and Santa Barbara uni), hotate, albacore, hamachi and kanpachi. “I had dinner at the Doral location. My server was quite busy. I waited approximately 45 minutes for my meal...And It came out cold. I was impressed with the way the situation was handled. Without mentioning it, the server informed the manager. The manager offered to remake my food and offered complimentary soup or salad, during my additional wait. The rest of my party thoroughly enjoy their meal. When the check came, to my surprise, the manager had comped my meal. I didn't ask, nor was I expecting this, however, I was pleased to receive this kind gesture. All in all, what started as a slow/rocky experience, was turned around by the thoughtful actions of the staff.I am a member of the Cooper's Hawk Wine Club, and plan to visit other locations.
