We went yesterday for some drinks and snacks after the beach. The calamari was super fantastic. So tender and lightly fried. Best I ever had in St. Augustine and we have tried a lot of places. We also had the fish dip which was excellent too served with fried bread and cocktail sauce which was amazing. Frankie is always a great bartender. We have not been there since they gave it a fave lift. We loved it!!!

Wonderful location and a great atmosphere. Not all of the food was unpleasant the fish dip was great and the crab cake burger was tasty. But my teriyaki grilled shrimp came out ice cold and the rice was luke warm. For 18 dollars for the plate, I wish it would have at least been warm. Leaving most of my plate unfinished was unfortunate. Would try something else nearby before going back.

Food is not so great, but location and atmosphere is great. Right off of the beach, you can come off of beach, and come grab a drink. Service is hit and miss with getting to you, but they're nice. Food is a bit pricey for what it is, but we pay it to be at that local spot. You can eat outside, watch people come and go from beach. Friendly people, and nice to grab a bite. Grab a drink and walk out to beach after . Would recommend you stop by this place at least once to check it out.

This is my Family's hands down favorite places to eat, they even have a menu for our fur baby. You can literally walk down the beach and right up to their restaurant. Good food, great service, and you can hear the waves crashing while you eat. We eat there at least 3 times when we're in town. ??

A Delightful Dining Experience at Beachcomber St. AugustineFrom the moment I stepped in, the coastal charm captivated me. The decor echoed the serenity of the nearby waves, transporting me to a tranquil getaway. The star of the evening was undeniably the grilled swordfish, a masterpiece of flavors perfectly complemented by a bed of fragrant rice pilaf and a medley of grilled vegetables. Each bite was a symphony of freshness and culinary finesse. The hospitality extended by the host and server added an extra layer of warmth to the experience. Their genuine care and attention to detail elevated my dining experience to new heights.Whether you choose the cozy indoor seating or opt for the refreshing outdoor ambiance, Beachcomber promises a memorable culinary journey. In conclusion, Beachcomber St. Augustine is more than just a restaurant; it's a destination where exceptional cuisine meets unparalleled hospitality. A true gem in the culinary landscape of St. Augustine, I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a taste of coastal paradise. I'm already eagerly anticipating my next visit.

The "Good"- The servers were very friendly and did a good job.The "Bad"- The food was mediocre at best. It was lukewarm upon arrival and the shrimp were undersized. The male bartender was not friendly and when I ordered a whiskey "neat," the pour was only half a pour compared to any other place I have been to and I have ordered drinks from hundreds of places. So, I received half of a drink that was overpriced even if it would have been full. Overall, I would not recommend. There are much better places around that are more comfortable, more friendly, and priced more appropriately. It appears that the manager is more concerned with the bottom line and not the customer's satisfaction.

Food was (very) good! I had a tripper sandwich. Service was alright. Very crowded though during lunchtime (no biker week or spring break when we went). Insufficient parking space for the restaurant's capacity.Parking: Parking fits only like 10 cars, while the restaurant has like 40 tables.

Great barefoot stop right off the beach! The kids love their picnic tables in the sand. Their seafood is fantastic. I tried to share a picture of the chocolate bourbon cake, but it disappeared before I could hit the button. All our plates looked like this every visit.
