Old Coast Ales Brewery • $$
300 Anastasia Blvd, St. Augustine

“Driving down the road, and saw this brewery. Busted a u-turn, and checked it out. So glad I did! I had the Kookaburra Brown Ale, which was very good. Got me a shirt and Tin tacker, as well. If you want a spot away from all the tourists in St. Augustine, and great beer, check this place out!“

Bog Brewing Company Brewery • $
218 W King St, St. Augustine

“After visiting Maggie's Herb Farm, I looked for a place to eat and hang out with family afterwards. Bog brewing was a drive, but close enough that we took the scenic route and drove there. I had looked to make sure they served food and allowed dogs there. Yelp has old pictures of Mannys Cuban Food, which is incorrect because now it is Tacos My Blessings food truck. We pulled up to the dirt parking lot and were able to find a space in the back. It gets crowded quickly, and this was around 2 pm on a Saturday afternoon. They have a fake grass area with toys for the kids, the food truck, seating, and access to the brewery. We found an end spot with plenty of seating and browsed the food menu for lunch. I chose the pork quesadilla, and my mom chose the three tacos with chorizo and steak. We were able to get a cup of beans for my toddler son. My mom then went inside to order drinks. I chose the Snow Rips DIPA, and my mom chose one of their ciders. Our food came out quickly, as well as the beers. The food was authentic Mexican, with lots of flavor, ingredients, and a freshness that is hard to find. The DIPA was light but had a good citrus hoppy flavor to it. We were able to enjoy everything outside for over an hour, and the dog was happy sniffing and meeting new friends. I'm glad we stopped by and highly recommend!“

Dog Rose Brewing Co. Brewery • $

“Did flight with 5 of their beers and liked all of them ! The sour Lions Head honey was my hubbie’s favorite, my favorite toss up between Rhapsody in Red and Orange Blossom Honey Ale. Alas no cans were available to purchase and we are traveling so didn’t want to pay for another growler we can’t refill. Would definitely go back but need to bring food !“

Ancient City Brewing Taproom Bar • $$
18 Cathedral Pl, St. Augustine

“A cool brewery in Downton St Augustine. We stopped in for a drink while wandering the city. It's a nice tap room with a lot of space. You can definitely pack a lot of people in. There are just a few tables but they don't have food anyway. The staff are nice enough.Nice selection of beers, amber, porter, red, IPA, lager. Nice spread. They were out of the 2 I was most interested in which is shame but it happens. Also while the IBU's were fairly low on most beers they all had a harsh hop bite on the finish. If you're into IPAs you'll probably like everything here. If not then everything other than the porter is probably going to turn you off.Not a bad place to drink to in St Augustine.“
