“After a hot day at the beach, a walk downtown St George, and just looking for an ice cream shop for my niece, we serendipitously came across the Castillo ice cream and coffee shop. The Castillo is a quaint, delightful shop, with a relaxing atmosphere, poised just across from the Castillo de San Marco Fort with a calming view. The iced vanilla latte was one of the best I’ve ever sampled in a while. The owner, who was working today, was extremely helpful and truly delightful! This locally owned business is well maintained, with superb quality, and plenty of menu options to choose from.- A must visit for the ice cream enthusiast or the coffee aficionado!“
“My daughter enjoyed spending her 15th birthday here for an hour with the cats. I do think $11 is a little much to pet some cats for an hr... You can visit a whole zoo for $13 in Chattanooga...or a petting zoo pretty much anywhere for just a few dollars more...The room is small and definitely feels crowded when full. But that said, if it's your thing, I think you'll enjoy it.“
“My friends and I stopped here on a Sunday morning before heading back to Gainesville. The staff are warm and accommodating. It is a cute little place where you can order at the counter and then sit inside or out with your food. The food was very fresh and the prices are super reasonable. The coffee is also pretty good, with a couple syrups and creamer you can add in. Definitely a good stop for a lowkey breakfast/lunch with friends or even if you're by yourself. Will definitely come back next time I'm in St. Augustine!“
“A lot to like about this place, with some small quirks.Coffee is great. My nova lox bagel was pretty bomb.My son's muffin left much to be desired.Wife asked for egg whites in her order, but they absolutely do not do egg whites, which is odd.Overall, a good place and I'll probably come back when in the area.“
“Someone who is on a ketogenic diet sometimes feels left out when it comes to delicious treats. Well....look no further. I traveled from Ohio to St. Augustine for a week vacation and saw that Parlor Donuts made keto donuts. I figured, hey I'll give them a try. After 3 years of living a keto lifestyle and not finding anything really better than I make at home, I'll just give it a try for the heck of it. Can't be that great but let's try donuts from Parlor Donuts. HOLY COW....these keto donuts are so moist and delicious with ZERO WEIRD AFTERTASTE. I'd eat these even if I wasn't eating keto or sugar free. AMAZING!!!! Good thing I don't live here because I'd be there often. If you have a Parlor Donut shop in your area...don't walk....RUN!!! Lastly, if you aren't eating sugar free or Keto, my partner says the regular donuts are equally INCREDIBLY!!!!“
“I'm not a food critic. But I have the ability to enjoy good food because of my taste buds. The food is fresh and tasty, we ate Sufer Sarah, one with potato's fries and the other with hash browns. Jackie was the waitress with a smile on her face, and in her soul, the service was lovely. In fact, all the staff were very nice. In the previous reviews, parking was a big problem, but it's worth the wait and having a good atmosphere and time. Pet friendly. Congratulations Beach Diner at A1A St.Augustine, FLCNA“
“I was on my way to Starbucks when I passed this place. I doubled back to go there, and boy was I glad I did. The barista was very friendly, as were all of the other people in line, and the coffee was great. I know it's a chain, but I will definitely go “
“We were so happy with our first time at this bakery! We got coffee cake, Easter cookie, chocolate cookie, fudge brownie, Twix bites, and a mango peach banana smoothie. Everything was DELICIOUS! We will absolutely be back.Dietary restrictions: Dairy free, gluten free, vegan accommodating!“
“I was looking for a real coffee shop while in St Augustine and I found one here. I had a very smooth latte and the price was the most reasonable I've seen yet in this town. If you're looking for a laid-back coffee shop experience take a walk one block off St George Street and come here.“
“Absolutely loved every aspect of this place. The waitress was very informative (food allergies) welcoming and funny. The homemade food was fantastic, everything we ordered was so delicious! I highly recommend Drake's Bistro to anyone visiting or living in the St.Augustine,FL area.“
“Love the atmosphere and the people so amazing and kind love it. And the food is just as amazing love it all you have to try their breakfast bowls it was delicious ? and biscuit and grave amazing 2 the drinks were super good service was quick ?“
“Went here because i saw someone say it was the best avocado toast they’ve ever had and i could not believe they were actually right! I would come back here for the food alone. Service was so great as well everyone had such a positive energy you can feel.“
“A must stop if you are in St. Augustine!!Dietary restrictions: I called before our trip to ask about what they cooked their donuts in because my daughter has a peanut allergy and can’t be too careful. The manager made sure there were no peanuts or peanut oil in anything. Very helpful and reassuring.“
“This was my first time here, but not my last. The food and coffee was great. I especially like the salmon cream cheese. My only problem with the atmosphere is that the building is a little to small and tight. Otherwise it is clean, bright and has a fun vibe.“
“Such a cute cafe!! Beautifully decorated with some seating in the next room. Very peaceful and relaxing. I saw their menu online and knew I had to come in to try some of their delicious coffee options. Their matcha and other tea options were another great draw. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and they let us know they would take our order in just a few minutes and to look over their menu. Such great service! Everyone was very kind and bubbly while we were placing our order. I ordered the pistachio dark mocha with pistachio whipped cream and my fiancé ordered the coconut mocha also with whipped cream. These were both to die for. The dark mocha pistachio had a great balance with every flavor in each sip. We could both still actually taste coffee which is the true wanted balance. The pistachio whipped cream on mine was just delicious. Just order it!“
“We randomly decided to pop by and so glad we did! Tammy was so sweet and had amazing energy, the donuts were so tasty, we tried the Nutella glaze and the St. Patrick’s day Irish donuts. Really good price for the quality experience and if you want a quick bite around town. It’s only a five min walk from the main parking garage.“
“Very cute coffee place nestled on a busy street! It’s not too big on the inside but customer service is great and the coffee is delicious! I had the P.C which was delicious and I paired it with the gluten free vegan donut. Definitely worth stopping by to grab something to go.“
“I met the owner upon my first visit last week and he is so passionate about his cafe. The Veggie Samosa was delicious and the coffee was strong and flavorful. There is a wide variety of hand crafted gifts to look at, and a small plant-trade on the outdoor patio. Such a wonderful way to start my day!!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Samosas!“
“Walking into this shop is like walking into a different era and the smells of the different teas and spices entices you to buy something. The proprietor, Colleen was friendly, knowledgeable and a delight to deal with. I purchased 2 packages of tea. Black Chocolate Black Tea and Blueberry Black Ceylon Black Tea. Colleen advised that I could order by the internet or call and they would ship it to me. A delightful place to visit and around and worth a five star review.“
“Cute place, good coffee. There's a menu above the counter and a smaller handwritten one on the side where you pick up items. Just confusing. I ordered Americana coffees thinking we could help ourselves to it at the coffee bar but NO that's only drip coffee. So instead we waited 30 minutes for our coffee and food. The entire vibe is confusing and the sweet girl at the counter must learn to project her voice, very hard to communicate with her. $15.50 for a bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich.“
“Stopped for lunch, very pleased with the sandwiches and salads we ordered. Everything fresh and very tasty, nice and spotlessly clean and not too crowded inside. Service not real speedy but we were very content to sit and talk with beverages while we waited.Frequent visitors to the area, so we will be back. Great lunch choice!“
“Independent Coffee Chain, St Augustine location pretty much always busy, offering indoor and outdoor seating.I like to get a fluffy cappuccino in a real cup with a saucer ☕They also offer good variety of wines, some kombucha, teas and very tasty sandwiches and treats.Highly recommend.“
“My husband and I enjoyed a quickly breakfast here in the morning. There are plenty of tables to sit either inside or outside. He had the House-Made Granola and a Cortadito. I had the breakfast burrito with added bacon and a Vietnamese coffee. Everything tasted good. It was nice to have the option of a warm breakfast with out have to go to a full sit down restaurant.Vegetarian options: Breakfast Burrito, House Made Granola“
“Ok so this is THE best coffee in historic St Augustine district! I had the Beach Bum latte which has coconut in it and my hubs had the Berried Alive I think it's called had maple syrup and blueberry flavors so yummy! But not overly sweet just perfect! Highly recommend! Located right across from the old Spanish fort!“
“A place to think, unlike you'd think. I've never relaxed more and enjoyed my time at a coffee shop other than this One! Foxtail's elegant atmosphere, outstanding staff, along with amazing attention to detail through the establishment has me wanting to spend more time here, if only there was enough time in the day to get everything done how we'd like.. Either way, I highly recommend 10/10 ?“
“I come to this Kookaburra Coffee on US 1 pretty much every day. My wife also comes with me to study after a day of school, while I work remotely, and work my manuscript. I have to give an honorable mention to both Jaylen and Julianna. Both employees go above and beyond for not only me and my wife but for all of their guests each and every day. They both remember me and my wife and treat us both with kindness and respect each and every day. Just the other day, a guest was entertaining her child and accidently dropped her drink all over the floor. Julianna didn't waste a second, she immediately came to her aid and started cleaning up the mess. From the 5-star service they provide, throw in the best tasting coffee in Saint Augustine, they make this Kookaburra the best one by far. If you ever have the opportunity to come visit, this is where you want your morning, midday and or afternoon beverage.“
“The atmosphere does not beat the original shop but so nice to have great coffee closer to home! Have tried a lot of local coffee and this remains my favorite and I even have to bring beans with me to family that lives up north because it has become their favorite. Pastries and hot chocolate are also very good. Do yourself a favor along your road trip and stop here instead of Starbucks on your road trip!Dietary restrictions: Multiple milk options“
“I can officially say I’ve now been to every location of Kookaburra in St. Augustine. I’ve driven by this one and never stopped. The outside is beautiful and the inside is extremely spacious and would be a great place to work during the day. We sat outside under the small covered porch and enjoyed our lattes. We’ll be back to the location more in the future.“
“Stopped here first time with 4 friends from out of town. Tried a Butter Crunch ice cream that was good. Seeing up hard dip ice creams with fun names. Also have shakes but didn't try,, yet..Super nice guy running the place and serving up the delicious ice creams. Place seemed clean and fancy. Small parking lot right in front.“
“Zen & Ginger is a cute coffee shop with different types of drinks plus they have lunch & desserts! We only had the drinks & they were high quality coffee drinks that we will definitely coming back!!! Clean, very cute interior design & decorations! The service was amazing!!!“
“Stumbled upon this unusual place on a side street in St. Augustine that is filling up with small shops. I didn't realize I needed The Refillery in my life until I did. Do you need oats, beans, coffee, tea, laundry detergent, honey etc? Of course you do! The Refillery has it all. Bring your own vessel or use theirs. While you're there order a delicious coffee from a friendly guy who looks like he's about to hang ten. Sit & sip your coffee in an intimate area decorated with luscious plants available for purchase. This is definitely a place to go for more natural products & a more fun way to buy. Tip: bring your own storage jars to purchase loose nuts, oats, etc if you don't want to purchase theirs.“
“I go to East Coast Nutrition on a regular basis. I have had 43 different shakes on the menu, including today, and have not ordered the same one. Each one has a unique flavor and these folks nail it! I will continue my quest to get through the entire shake menu one day.“
“This place is under new management and the owners are Amazing. They treat all the employees and Customers like friends and family. The Cashiers are very polite and the food is great out of this world burgers never have to wait long for our food definitely should give it a try.!! Costa is Amazing he is the new Owner.!!!“
“Stop while we where riding our bikes, very pleasant owners orders coffees and a danish sat on the large front porch and enjoyed, would have given 5 stars but my wife was told they didn’t have a restroom, I thought all dining facilities had to have restrooms. ???“
“I walked in and said I want something cold, sweet and with caramel. The woman at the register gave me a long list of options. She knew her stuff. Was very nice and friendly. She didn't know it was my birthday and it was a great start to turning 31! I believe it was a caramel crunch Frappuccino and it was SOOO good. Exactly what I was looking for. And the bacon, gouda, and egg sandwich was pretty good too.“
“Very cute shop. We went in to get some coffee late in the evening. I got a Cafe Cubano, and it was everything I wanted. Very strong and delightfully sweet without being too much. My friends got a Cafe latte and a caramel macchiato which they both loved. Will definitely be back whenever I am in/around St. Augustine!“
“We were there 2 weeks ago and I bought the Nashville Hot Chicken spices with an attached recipe. It was amazing tonight! My family said my sandwich is their fav now! lol We had a very pleasant time shopping in this store on vacation! We highly recommend them! Great staff!! ???“
“#3 hot chocolate kid temp is always a great choice#2 nothing better then birthday cake pops & coco at 6am.#1"Just visited the new Starbucks location - it's pristine and has that unmistakable Starbucks charm. Don't forget, if you prefer your drink with less ice, ask for 'extra extra light ice.' ☕✨"“
“Straight up fantastic! Super cute seating area, and good prices! The dude running the place even stayed open a little late to make us our food when we walked up to him closing. Fantastic service and the drinks were great? totally get the lemonade here“
“Mayday on Anastasia Island is a must stop after the beach. They have a sampler called The Flight which the kids love! Adults too. You can pick 6 flavors of ice cream. The flavors are unique and constantly updated with the seasons. Be sure to try their homemade sprinkles! ?“
