All about location, but rooms are clean and good enough for a short stay near family.

This motel is so amazing! Very clean and very quiet! The lake is beautiful. While this motel may not have extra amenities like big chains…it’s very much like motels when I was younger. Bring some drinks and snacks; then pile in and rest! Very beautiful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger towns but still within driving distance.

This is an old property with very few amenities. However, the room was clean and quiet for the five nights of my stay. It is six minutes from the Harmony Golf Preserve (the reason for my visit) and about 10 minutes from St. Cloud.

Every year we meet with a group of friends for lunch in St. Cloud and have started spending the night in the area to avoid the late Friday afternoon I-4 traffic back home. This year we decided to stay at the Lakeside Inn and Café and highly recommend it. You are off the beaten path, and you do feel like you are stepping back to the 1960s and a simpler time. The room and its furnishings, while modest, were very well maintained and clean. The beds were comfortable, and each room has a small refrigerator (with freezer compartment), a microwave and coffee maker. The grounds were lush, and it faces west on a lake with docks and a picnic area. Our room didn’t have a hairdryer, but I am certain, had I gone to the office, they would have provided one. It would be wonderful if they re-opened the small café attached to the motel, but we just picked up food and brought it back to our room or you could eat out by the lake. Yes, we do highly recommend the Lakeside Inn and Café, and we plan on returning next year after our annual luncheon.

This is a great location. Old-school Florida motel. Enough away from town to be quiet & private but close enough to be near restaurants & shopping. Absolutely would stay here again.Rooms: Room was large, clean & adorable.Noteworthy details: Beautiful spot with great lakeside outdoor seating.

This is a wonderful, small Inn that is off the beaten path. It sits right on a wonderful lake and has a marvelous dock. It is an older hotel with the great Florida charm. And it was very quiet, and oh so clean. The N caper was very cordial and offered suggestions for places to eat. We wanted to grab a pizza and eat out on the dock, but the weather prohibited us from sitting outside. The view is just spectacular, we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who has a desire to stay at ends that are family owned and operated and not a corporation. Very very lovely.

No breakfast nor internet as advertised! Signal strength is unstable, very weak and spotty most of the time. In order to move to another room, I was asked to pay $35 more. Hot water for shower is available after a few minutes after opening faucet.

Cute, clean rooms in a quite little area on the lake. No microwave, Cafe is closed.

Air conditioner loud and keep going on off and on kelp waking us up all night. Just a bad overall stay. Very bare bone motel. Bath was spacious and clean. Loud neighbors. Little face to face with staff. No ice machines, etc. Too much money per night for what you get. Too our of the way and not enough parking.

Out of the way and very quiet location. It's right on the lake. Not your high-end motel but old Florida at its finest.
