“Tonight was my first visit to Allelo on Beach Drive in St. Pete. We didn’t have a reservation but were lucky to get seats at the bar around 7 p.m. They mentioned they were fully booked, though we did notice a few tables open both when we arrived and when we left. Still, we ended up having a great time at the bar! The female bartender was pretty friendly and attentive, and the bar back (a male) was busy helping with table and silverware setup ~ both were good. We ordered the Baby Gem Salad, Mussels in a delicious tomato sauce, and the Cocktail Shrimp, which were all fantastic. The cocktails were unique and interestingly crafted. The espresso martini had an interesting twist ~ a subtle touch of amaro that gave it depth. The lemon drop martini was made with their house lemonade, which gave it a refreshing and slightly unexpected flavor. My friend ordered the Aperol Spritz and really enjoyed it too. It was a bit loud inside, so next time I’ll definitely ask to sit outside, especially in this beautiful weather. The restaurant has a charming patio right on Beach Drive, a cozy bar area, and another smaller dining room to the right as you walk in. The space is beautifully decorated, with a hand-painted mural of birds by a local artist. They even provided a list so guests can learn about each bird featured on the wall ~ a thoughtful touch! I’m surprised it took me this long to visit, especially since I consider myself quite the foodie. Allelo has been open for 5 years, and after tonight, I can definitely say I’ll be back soon!”

This film is about an 85-year-old sushi master and owner of Sukiyabashi Jiro, previously a Michelin three-star restaurant. Sukiyabashi Jiro is a 10-seat, sushi-only restaurant located in a Tokyo subway station. We have this kind of high quality sushi restaurant and only 10 seats. We get to enjoy heavenly delicious sushi like film with sake paring in St. Pete last night. What can I say! It’s a fantastic experience and culture for 2 hours.”

But I have been hesitant with many because I don’t want to eat something made from tofu or seitan and call it a burger or meat dish. So, I highly recommend that you eat at House of Vegano with fresh food, creative and incredible tastes, amazing choices and friendly staff that makes you feel like you are home. We enjoyed it so much that we went there a second time on our last night and grabbed a couple of pizzas to take back to our hotel room for dinner. Our server (Alijah) was awesome, too - very friendly but not over-bearing.”

Nevertheless, things moved along quickly and we got our order in and got a table. The staff members were all very pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere was fun and lively. The coffee was very good. For food a Jam-on-It Sandwich which was quite nice. We also had a berry yogurt bowl. The yogurt was delicious and the fruit and granola on it were great. The scone we got, nicely warmed, was delicious. I’ll return, but I’ll try for a dry weekday.”

At the end of the meal he shared the most delicious Mastiha I have ever had.

Tylor mentioned that Happy Hour drink specials were all day, unfortunately our part doesn’t drink but when we did would have been a welcome surprise. One appetizer was ordered for the table, Local fish spread that came with pickled onions and jalapeños which we enjoyed over the normal hot sauce option. I ordered the Moroccan Tripletail with Truffle Chermoula butter was definitely one of my favorite fish dishes I’ve ever tasted! Normally comes with rice, I had the Root Mashed potato that complimented the fish perfectly. My wife ordered the Spicy Peri Peri chicken, a delightful fiery chili pepper that brings a nice kick of heat that dissipates quickly. I actually will be back to try on the chicken wings. Also at the table a Fried Goat Cheese salad and a Peri Peri chicken sandwich were ordered which both again were prepared perfectly and delicious. Every plate was more than enough food to fill everyone’s appetite. Even though everyone was satisfied with dinner, one order of Brownie cheesecake with caramel butter was ordered… to die for! We will definitely return! Hope you give this place a try if you haven’t already, you will not be disappointed.”

Today I tried the beetroot, ginger, lemongrass, and blueberry juice, and it was AMAZING. Super refreshing with the perfect balance of sweetness and a little kick from the ginger. You can tell they know how to blend flavors well.
The menu has a ton of options, whether you want something fruity, creamy, or more health-focused like detox juices. Everything I’ve had here has been consistently good.
