I paid so much more for overcooked seafood at SPINNERS where wine is 16dollars a glass.This place knows how to cook seafood where a 10dollar lobster and huge shrimp are better than high price places. Waiter explained menu choices patiently and my drink was amazing even on 5dollar margarita nite.nice and strong.A northerner my first seafood boil was a fun and delicious. “Went to the crab shack for all you can eat fish and coconut shrimp. It was well worth the money and the fish served hot each time and the coconut shrimp was to die for according to my wife. Would definitely return. The entire team was very attentive to any and all requests. Two thumbs up.“

“I booked Paul's landing for a Friends's birthday lunch. We sat inside with a beautiful view of the marina. Our table was ready on arrival.  she ordered oysters and a salad my friend and I had the salmon with vegetables. It was delicious. Salmon was perfectly cooked, but there was very little food. Six oysters is $24. I guess when you're eating at a restaurant in the Vinoy that is to be expected. Our server seemed very rushed, never stuck around very much till the very end. Overall, though we had a great time, I would choose somewhere else for food options, but the ambience here is beautiful and fun. I recommend maybe doing drinks and an appetizer and having a main course elsewhere. “

“After deciding not to cook for my Wife bday, I decided to order food here...seen it thousands of times, first time ordering...The Staff is amazing...Tina and David were awesome, very friendly and professional....and the food was to die for...I only had appetizers, Crab Stuffed Shrimp, Bacon wrapped shrimp, basil meatballs, gouda spinach dip and the spring salad...everything was exquisite, fresh and so delicious...and can't beat that southern flavors...I can't wait to try all their other dishes. “I love BABA but i hadnt been to Barbouni. We happily found out that tins were BOGO on Thursdays. We had oysters, ikura, prawns, and cockles. The bartender James was so helpful informing us about all the different types of tins and what we could expect. Amazing accompaniments with our dishes, all thoughtful and unique dressings for our meal. Beautiful space, cant wait to be back“

“Note: Cash only! This place is a hidden gem. We live relatively nearby and never knew it existed. We tried it today and will definitely be back. It's take-out only. You place your order at a small window, and then come back to pick it up. There were a few people in line in front of us, it took about 10 minutes to get our food. It was still hot when we got back home to eat it. Other comments mention rudeness. We didn't experience any rudeness, or have any negativity. My guess is that there may be some language misunderstandings happening. Unexpectedly great place, will be back.“

“A small sweet and sour chicken with the included rice and a small plain lo mein was easily enough to feed 2 for dinner and still have some leftovers for $15.

The food was good, definitely prepared fresh but was ready in just a couple of minutes. Worth a try for sure.“

“Sonata Restaurant is inside Mahaffey Theater and has its own moon in the middle of the restaurant. It was a beautiful place. We had one problem with drinks we wanted to order. They have no frozen drinks which was fine so we ask if we could get a sweet wine such as White Zinfandel or Moscato that did not have that either. Every restaurant always has at least White Zinfandel wine. So we asked for Sangria. Did not have that either. They really need to get a good sweet wine there. I had their baked grouper over risotto and the food was delicious with lots of good seasonings. My husband and daughter had the burger and it is was a little dry but the fries were delicious. Afterwords we went to the show Cirque Dreams Holidaze inside the Theater and walked right over from the restaurant. The restaurant location is in Downtown Saint Petersburg, Florida on the Tampa Bay waterfront which is breathtaking.“
