Backwoods Crossing catered our wedding a few weeks ago and did an OUTSTANDING job! We had guests from all over the country and they all commented on how wonderful the food was. Everything they serve is farm to table. We had crab cake balls, bacon wrapped scallops, and the best stuffed mushrooms you have ever tasted.For our dessert we had a vision of a donut cake. Kayla and DJ constructed an actual wedding cake made with krispy cream donuts and it was the centerpiece of the night!The staff at Backwoods was also great to work with. Alex and Taylor did a wonderful job coordinating all of the details for our big day. Hire Backwoods for catering or go eat at the restaurant- they go above and beyond!

The blue crab corn bisque is absolutely delicious.
Really used to like this place but this time was different. Our server (Brandon) was obviously trying to rush us out of there and flip his tables and he was always rushing us. The crab cakes were definitely cheap shredded crab and the food overall was just not like it usually is. 5/10 experience overall :(

If you are driving on 10 & don’t want chain food, this is your stop. It is the rare place that isn’t even out of your way, but would be worth driving extra if it was. We had a boar burger and salad with roasted corn, sautéed shiitakes, roasted red pepper and a crab cake, and bread pudding for dessert. Delicious.
