My first visit to IHop. Did not disappoint. I had the protein pancakes with strawberries. It was so good, but I could only eat half. Plan to visit again.

Every time I go in here there’s 1 cook and 1 server. People are waiting around to get help, people are standing at the door, dirty tables every where and the two employees look like they have been ran ragged (when you get a glimpse of them frantically running by). They need to close this location or staff the restaurant.

O stars!!! I wrote a previous review about our terrible experience. The general manager did call me and ask us to return, but by then we had already left and been served at another close-by restaurant. Further, I live about 25 minutes away, so it's not like I visit this place often. As to my review, I received the same response as everyone here...to cut and paste and they would get back to me. My photos of the dirty Tallahassee restaurant have received over 8,000 views. Been over a month...nothing.As to the rest of this questionaire, we waited 30 minutes to be served and never received so much as a glass of water. Therefore, I am entering information just so I can submit my complaint.

The food is alright, and it’s usually in line with what you would expect for a typical IHOP, but I just don’t understand why the service is so subpar. The Tallahassee locations seem to always be understaffed with extreme wait times if you dine in. I’m someone who dines out probably 90% of the time, and it is only at IHOP that the staff always seem to be confrontational.The loyalty rewards from IHOP make me want to go back because you really can get so many free items, but honestly, the experience always leaves a poor taste in my mouth.

Though our wait was longer than expected, both the lady and chef deserve raises. Appears they were the only two however we were never ignored, updated on wait, and she apologized for it. I appreciate honesty. Seems like other restaurants in the area can learn a thing or two about how to provide good customer service when short on staff. Food was delicious and staff friendly!!
