Though our wait was longer than expected, both the lady and chef deserve raises. Appears they were the only two however we were never ignored, updated on wait, and she apologized for it. I appreciate honesty. Seems like other restaurants in the area can learn a thing or two about how to provide good customer service when short on staff. Food was delicious and staff friendly!!
We were seated immediately and placed our order. After waiting nearly an hour our food was delivered cold. I was told it was due to online orders ahead of us. Butter wouldn't even melt on the Pancakes. A manager did come and agreed to recook our order. Food was great (when hot) which is only reason for the extra star. Stay away.....

The food is alright, and it’s usually in line with what you would expect for a typical IHOP, but I just don’t understand why the service is so subpar. The Tallahassee locations seem to always be understaffed with extreme wait times if you dine in.
