Every time I've been to Sonny's and done carry out or drive through they have left something out. Not fun paying for what you're not getting. Also, the pictures and description of their food is bogus. The meat is chewy, the "crispy catfish" is soggy and the burgers are dry and tasteless. Do yourself a favor, save your money and go to a place that takes more pride in their food.Parking: Parking is easy because more people have learned that the food here is bad.

Always a fun place to eat! The servers are very nice and keep the tea coming. The baby back ribs are always delicious. The smoked turkey and baked potato never let me down. Fried okra is a good way to start your meal- and if you have room for dessert, the banana pudding. Suggestion- bring back the peach cobbler! I’m fortunate that I have 3 Sonny’s near me, and I frequent all of them.

I eat Sonny's BBQ at least two to three times a week. I have been eating Sonny's BBQ for well over 30 years and have eaten in Sonny's in Kissimmee, Gainesville, Lake City, Tallahassee and Marianna. The Sonny's on North Monroe Street in Tallahassee has always been my favorite. It always has the most friendly staff. Always ask if Wendi is working because she is one of the very best. Wendi always has a great smile and stays on top of service. If Wendi is not available, the others do a great job also. Only complaint I ever have is please bring back the original Brunswick Stew. I have missed that ever meal since it was discontinued.

Came in with my 3 kids on St. Patrick's Day and had the greatest service. They were busy and we still got sat and fed quickly and had the amazing service from Wendi and Leia!
