“From the moment we walked in, the experience at this restaurant was amazing. The owner, Mily, greeted us with a big smile and made us feel so welcome. She was incredibly hospitable—she even offered my mom a small taste of the legume before ordering, just to make sure she liked it. That level of care and kindness really stood out. Mily also walked us through the ordering process, explaining each dish and helping us feel comfortable with our choices.

I ordered the legume white rice sauce pwa plate and the tassot with diri jon jon, and let me tell you—it was phenomenal. The flavors were amazing , and everything was cooked to perfection. The restaurant’s playlist set the perfect mood, good music and playing at just the right volume not loud. Plus, the restaurant
was spotless—tables floors, were clean.

You can tell Mily truly cares about her customers and takes pride in every dish she serves. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was personal, and the food was absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be coming back! If you’re in the area please come check her out!”

I had the oxtail which was so different than any oxtail I’ve ever tasted. Paired with the light & fluffy rice & peas??? Literally heaven. I’m obsessed. I wish I had pictures but I scarfed it down so fast. Please keep in mind that this is a home business (I recommend delivery but if you’re picking up, it’ll be in an apartment complex) but the food was so good & the preparation was proven to be sanitary! “In my humble opinion, Char-Hut is one of the best steakburger and chicken breast fast food restaurants in America and possibly the world. The quality of the meat and poultry is the finest and the choices offered for toppings is exceptional! The steak burger is thick; there's no skimping on weight and, one of my favorites, is a serving of plantains as a side instead of fries. The entire team greets you as you enter and they have a way of making you feel like family. There's a reason they have been here for 49 years. Let's hope they can continue for at least 51 more years. They've been part of my family's life for 40 years. When we're in the area, it's one of the restaurants we make sure to stop at. If you haven't tried Char-Hut, put it on your list of places to eat. You definitely won't be disappointed.”

They let us know of the few restaurants within walking distance as we couldn’t drive due to RV. We quickly walked to Wow Wow Wings expecting a bit of frustration from the staff because it was so late as the young man inside was already mopping. We peeked in and asked if they were still serving and much to our surprise we were welcomed with such hospitality. We waited patiently to be greeted by whom I assumed was the manager who wanted to make sure he made our food just as we wanted. He brought it up front for us to view and it looked delicious. “Raising Cane's lives up to the hype. It's simple yet delicious. Their tenders are some of the best in the game, period. Crispy, juicy, and the sauce complements all their food so well.
At first I didn't like the Texas toast, but now I love it, especially with the Cane's sauce. It can get busy so do yourself a favor and check Google to know peak times.

“Personally, I loved the food from La Paisa. It is an excellent place to eat and has a wide variety of delicious dishes from Colombia. The servers known as Debbie, Belen, and Camila, were professional, kind, and respectful. Overall, I recommend going to La Paisa if you’re looking for authentic Colombian and international food. Even the bakery has authentic Colombian bread and pastries that are delicious for the taste buds as well. La Paisa is the slice of authentic Colombian culture that can be simply found in the traditional Colombian foods here in Fort Lauderdale.”

Restaurant- Wow i love when locals are in the joint talking to the great server and everyone is having a great time. A happy place! Very clean and bright. I definitely would ignore the 1 star fake reviews.

Breakfast- Hash,eggs,potatoes and a bagel for $13 a great deal and it was just the way i like it a little well done.

Lunch- fried chicken sandwich. Fresh real chicken. Breaded like a cutlet so you know the chicken parm is prob good too. A basic sandwich but everything was fresh cut and very tasty. A very good price too.

Dinner- best meal of the 3! Chopped steak covered in onions with potato, veggies soup and bread for under $20. Steak was cooked great very juicy. No way i could eat potato to much food. Ahhhh doggy bag! Wife had very big burger!

Overall A , great job!

“I was looking for a Chinese restaurant near my house that was good and would deliver to my address. I have been on a mission to find 1 to no avail, until yesterday. I read a lot of google reviews and finally settled on this restaurant.
If u r looking for a fancy restaurant to take ur family out to for dinner that feels like they spent a million dollars renovating… then this is NOT ur restaurant, but if u r looking for great food at a reasonable price that delivers within a 3 mile radius… then look no further. It’s a small family owned restaurant in an old plaza on nob hill. They charge a $2 delivery fee, which goes towards the driver… when was the last time u saw such a small delivery fee AND it actually went to the driver?!?!? Early 2000s? Good for u Ming Wah.
The portions were enormous. They really packed the food as tight as they could get it into the containers. We picked up food for a party of 4 people for a total of $93. We way over ordered, but we wanted to try all of our favorite dishes. When we were done, we had enough food left over for at least 2-3 more meals each. They offer a family pack for $46. It’s a buyer beware option that actually works out in ur favor so make sure u actually take the time to read over what it’s offering.

The only things we finished were the egg rolls and the crab rangoon. These 2 things were the only items we were not impressed with…. The crab rangoon was chewy and the egg roll shells were a little on the hard side, but these 2 minor complaints were overlooked by my picky family. My dad said it was the best/sweetest eggplant he’s had in a really long time. My sister, who hates everything everywhere was surprisingly happy. So the entire family said they would be back.
So what did we learn?… the food is reasonably priced, tastes great, delivers within 3 miles with a $2 delivery fee, and it looks rundown. I even took the time to call them back and tell them we were very happy with all of our meals and that they now had a new repeat customer. Take the time and try the food u won’t be disappointed with the recipes, price or portions.”
