I’ve been wanting to try this bakery for a while as it’s conveniently located on a high traffic road in Tampa. They have a huge selection of bakery items. Although I did not get to try all of them the few that I did try were delicious. The croissants were buttery, sweet and savory while still keeping it moistness. Not much has changed since the new owners took over, food is still delicious and service is good. Not the exactly the same as what it used to be, but pretty close! Glad they didn't let this bakery close and become just a memory for Tampa, we have been patronizing them for about 35 years.

I've been going to Housewife for many years and it's always a great experience. They have a few tables inside for dining in or carry out. Specials are listed throughout the day for both breakfast and lunch. Wide selection of pastries, cookies, and cakes. They will take their time to make sure everything is right. Call ahead is the best option if you're in a hurry.
