“Great spot for business dinners or date nights. Truthfully I was drawn in by the building because it looks so intriguing from the outside and I was just as impressed once we were inside. It isn’t too loud in there so if going for business or on a date night you can converse without having to strain to hear one another. The staff were all friendly and attentive. ??The preparation and presentation fully reflected the care that’s put into curating the Olivia experience.We had filet mignon, scallops, mushroom risotto, pasta, tomato and burrata, charcuterie, and the MUST HAVE garlic bread and enjoyed all of it! I imagine their cocktails must be good if you’re going for drinks because our non-alcohol cocktails were delicious (*this is a big plus for us because we don’t consume alcohol but we do love flavorful beverages when we’re dining*). ?”

“Ponte does not disappoint! I took my husband there last night for his birthday and from start to finish, it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere is elegant and modern but not ostentatious or garish. The food and drinks were creative, expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and unbelievably delicious. And I cannot say enough about the staff. From Samantha, the hostess; Tyler, the manager; Bill, our server; and Matt, the sous chef; to the young man serving the bread and the multiple other staff who kept our water glasses full, everyone was professional, pleasant, knowledgeable and engaging. Samantha, in particular, handled a very aggressive and arrogant disgruntled man in the most diplomatic and professional manner. And this man was so aggressive that my husband and I almost intervened on Samantha’s behalf. But her diplomacy and professionalism did not waiver. To say she impressed us is an understatement. All in all, this was by far one of the best, if not the best restaurant experiences we have ever had. We will definitely return.”

“As a meat and cheese loving foodie, I still give this place 5 stars!! My family and I ordered 4 pizzas (margarita, bohemian Jack, jalapeño popper and chicky buff) and we couldn’t choose a favorite, they were all delicious and cooked to perfection - my brother in law owns a pizzeria in New Jersey and was thoroughly impressed with the crust (he’s a tough critic!). The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, although we were just picking up an online order. Would highly recommend!”

“First time visiting here for a bridal shower and it was absolutely gorgeous! The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a unique vibe. We had a bridal shower brunch and they accommodated our party easily. The table was decorated so cute, along with custom “she said yes” menus that each guest got to order from! I had the French toast for brunch and it was a delicious, although a little sweet for my taste (I’m team savory for brunch always). Drinks were good, along with their craft sodas which were delicious! Would definitely recommend in the future and will be back for other meals!”

“I didn't eat here, as I was just there to pickup food for my boss. Her order was ready in 15 minutes. ALL of the staff I encountered was very nice and professional; from the valet parking guy to the servers in passing, to the girl who cashed the order out. They accommodated my additional request without any hesitation. (Extra cup of ice with lemons). This place was a whole vibe! It was packed, so I can imagine how tasty their food is. Hopefully one day in my down time, I can squeeze in time for lunch here. It smelled good and the establishment was clean. Even though they were slam packed, the servers didn't look stressed or overwhelmed. They just went with the flow. Even without tasting the food, I rate this business with 5 stars. It is very welcoming. Parking isn't great, but it's doable. It's definitely an excellent place and I would recommend just through observation that this would be an excellent place to grab brunch at! Way to set the bar for these other small restaurants in Tampa. Whatever it is you're doing, keep it up!”

“Being a fellow owner of restaurants in the Washington DC area. I first encountered Bern's in 1984. To everything I encountered on my first dining experience, everything from appetizers, steaks, side dishes with the main course was so much more than exquisite beyond belief! The upstairs dessert room wasn't completed as of my first visit. Desserts at the dinner table were beyond delightful.Beyond that the Wine List was thicker than the Manhattan phone book.I had the pleasure of enjoying Bert and Gert's hospitality more than twenty times in forty years.I am glad to see their son David is carrying on the excellent tradition his parents begin!!Gregory Schriver”

“Oh my gosh!! When I say this place was amazing, it is quite literally an understatement. Fly Chix was the best chicken joint I’ve ever come across, and I’d definitely recommend it. The food was impeccable and fresh from scratch. In addition to that, the customer service was incredible. “I can’t say enough great things about Haven.Nothing has been anything less than stellar. The charcuterie selection is amazing and the cheese is possibly the widest selection in Tampa.All of the dishes have been incredible. The menu rotates regularly but I’ve enjoyed oysters, blistered shishito peppers, duck tacos, the chicken thigh and pork belly wrapped asparagus. Even for the $2 taco week special, the size of the duck confit taco was amazing.. they don’t skimp!!The cocktails are delicious and the service is always amazing. I wish I had more room in my belly.. I’d be at Haven every night!”

Truly home-style Middle Eastern cooking, including Arabic coffee (think Turkish coffee, but with cardamom) coupled with great service in cute patio seating. Definitely worth a visit while in Tampa/Ybor!”

“My husband and I had a dinner date here last week and really enjoyed it. We started with the Ahi Tuna Tartare. It was out of this world. It was also such a generous portion. I had the Wood-Grilled Tenderloin salad. The tenderloin was so tender, and the veggies in the salad were crisp. I would definitely order this again. I took half home for ljnch the next day. My husband got the Boneless Rainbow Trout. He also really enjoyed his dish. We did get the carrots cake dessert, but scarfed it down so fast I didn't get a pic. Our server, Paul, was attentive and very pleasant. He was amazing. We will definitely be back soon.”

“The Pros:The first thing I want to do is give a huge shout-out to Sam! She was a fantastic server who did a great job.We tried a few different cocktails and they were all incredible. Very well done and I would recommend them.The short rib, the beef tartare, the lavender pear pistachio dessert were all exceptional and worth raving about!The Con:In my opinion this is the only thing keeping this from being a five star review. My party and I all ordered the tasting menu, and per the website I filled out the tasting menu accomodation request in advance as I have a seafood allergy. In email I was told it wasn't a problem and I was assured again by Sam when I was seated that it wouldn't be an issue.The very first course was an oyster amuse-bouche that I couldn't eat, and they didn't offer me any kind of alternative. I just had one less course than the rest of my party which was a very disappointing start to a meal that we spent nearly $1000 on. I would have also accepted an accomodation like a discount or a drink but they didn't offer anything like that. I want to be fair here that there is also a hamachi crudo dish on the tasting menu that they did offer me a delicious deviled egg alternative which was absolutely fantastic, so I didn't go completely unaccomodated, but it was still frustrating to have let them know weeks in advance, and confirmed at the door, and still been excluded from a course.”

I am super picky about wine & the server was able to pick the most beautiful Tuscan wine for me based on description of notes I provided her which is almost impossible per my standards. To say I was impressed is an understatement. She also recommended the wild boar, prosciutto and a few excellent cheeses for our charcuterie board which also far exceeded my expectations. Portion size was enormous, enough for four people (we ordered 2 meats and 2 cheeses for reference). Fresh baguette, grapes, little cheese toasted snacks. Yum! We were also provided truffle honey which was to DIE for. I cannot say enough about this hidden gem, will be back for sure!”

I ordered the sirloin steak breakfast, and my steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Everything about our visit was delightful. There are some younger talents behind the counter that may not acknowledge you while standing there for 3-5 minutes. But that isn't because they're rude. Prices are pretty good for the size too.First off, Pad Thai had a lot of flavor with the tamarind tanginess and sweetness shining through. Loved the Crab Fried Rice. It was spicy but not overpowering and the crab itself was definitely real. Helpful guest experience and from someone that is part Thai the ambience and food when I went in the evening made me feel kinda like being back home.”

I wanted to surprise my group with a nice bottle of wine for the table; I had asked the server to put the wine on a separate ticket and keep my plan a secret, and she delivered! Timpano has a great wine selection- I ended up selecting a bottle of 2018 Silver Oak Cabernet. Our table was a half booth/half table. The seats were very comfortable, and it felt very private where we can continue to enjoy our food/drinks, yet still have fun. The food was incredible. I highly recommend the Parm to Table experience- the server assistance comes to your table with the homemade pasta in a cheese wheel and makes the sauce right in front of you. We were able to split the entire plate of pasta amongst 6 of us ladies. My husband and I enjoyed the meats and salad bar, and my baby, mom, and vegan sister ate solely from the salad bar. The meats were very very well seasoned. We asked for our meats to be cooked medium. My favorites were the picanha, lamb chops and lamb cuts, the filets, the bacon wrapped meats!! Wow, just wow. Everything was delicious. And everything was served hot and fresh. We also ordered sides. Our absolute favorite were the caramelized plantains. We ordered a few baskets of those. And of course the Brazilian cheese balls were delicious, and a sauce was included with this and it was BOMB. The salad bar was delicious as well. A variety of salads, fruits, vegetables, and seafood. My mom and sister were satisfied off of this. My baby loved the plantains, sweet potatoes, fries, and the rice and beans. I also ordered a blue piña colada, so incredibly yummy! I got a slight little buzz from it, which was good for that occasion. But I recommend adding another shot if you want to feel the buzz better. Beautiful presentation of the drink though. The servers were very attentive and nice. They constantly checked in with us and made sure that we were happy. The space is beautiful! They have a mural and it was so cool to learn that one of the workers there painted that mural!!!! We were so intrigued and amazed by it. The overall ambiance is very relaxed, welcoming, and just a chill vibe. I would love to return when there is a live performance. Lastly, they surprised me with a birthday flan! I LOVE flan, so this was awesome! It was very delicious. Overall I recommend checking this place out. You won't be disappointed in the meat selection and flavors. So feel free to use your containers, at the end of the meal we received a check and a complementary dessert, which was fascinating because it was a warm red bean soup with tapioca. Interesting that a bowl of peanuts is put out on the table just to Nosh on and they were very good because they were Spanish red skin peanuts. You'll miss it if you hop on the elevator before making the right turn to the courtyard. A café has been missing from that spot for quite a while. “I dined at Lepley's for the first time at the invitation of friends, who had planned to go elsewhere, but we could not get a table right away at neither place. So we sat at the bar, and the bartender's service was excellent. I ordered shrimp and grits, and requested a side salad, which they provided at my request instead of the large entree portion. Both were very good, and my friends enjoyed their meals as well. A DJ played music during our Saturday lunch, and the music was clean. I could've done without it, but it's not a deterrent. The service and food deserve at least 4 stars. Space is not large.”

“I am not a fan of sushi.. but I am a huge fan of KURA. This would be my one and only choice if anyone suggested sushi. Not only is every bite delicious, but the prices are decent. If I'm feeling adventurous, I can always try something I would normally never get.. if I like it, great, if I don't, no money went down the drain because the other piece would be eaten by my partner. The service is always amazing and I still haven't had anything I didn't love. If you're like me and sushi is not your go to, trust me, this is your spot. There is something for everyone.”

“I was hesitate on coming here after reading all the bad reviews but I did anyways and I don’t regret it. Service was great, the lady that took my order was super nice!! Time from taking order to getting food was less than 5 min! And food was all fresh and hot when I got home to eat it. No compliants.”
