“I was scared to visit Strandhill bc a seafood allergy but finally went. Roxana and Cassidy helped us. They assured me my wings will be safe. It was an awesome place. Good vibes excellent food and great service. You will have a fun night. I am glad we visited. Thank you !“
“Fine memorabilia and pictures, great service. Interior is decorated as a village, with many semi-private snugs, a safely separate darts room, and a covered outdoor courtyard bar. If only they hosted a weekly Irish Traditional Music session, it would be Irish pub heaven!“
“Perhaps its in my old age that I really love good old fashioned comfort foods. Mashed potatoes, ground meat, veggies, all lovingly layered and topped off with cheese. What more could a girl want? I thought St. Patrick's Day weekend was the PERFECT time to enjoy the classic Shepard's Pie dish, a staple that seems to be getting harder for me to find somehow... So what better place to enjoy this than Irish 31? I was in area anyway with Muffin, so we swung by. It was pretty packed due to the holiday and the time, nevertheless, it didn't take long for a friendly server to acknowledge me and usher me inside to sit anywhere I wish. Again, I had Muffin (my shih tzu) so I had to sit outside. I managed to snag a spot outside, and a few beats later, my server brought me out my menu. I've been here before, and I remember loving the Shepard's Pie here, so it was the obvious choice for me to get. I didn't take long at all for the food to arrive. I love this classic dish. Hearty ground beef with peas and carrots (so it can somewhat resemble healthy food and add a pop of color, of course) savory gravy, and creamy mashed potatoes, all baked and topped with a generous helping of cheese. Everything was perfectly layered and portioned so that I got the perfect balance of all the textures from the meat, veggies, and potato with cheese in one bite. It was VERY filling for me, so that was all I got and I left more than satisfied. I love how despite they were busy, service was friendly and quick, bringing the right vibe and energy to the holiday weekend.“
“The service is so excellent with the bartender Jessica Riozzo. She's rock! The food is so delicious and I really satisfied this great meal and their place is so coolest and I would love to come back there again for next time. They has great live DJ music too.“
“I got a corned beef and cabbage and an order of onion rings to go. Hands down, most likely the BEST corned beef I have ever had. Nice and tender. Mashed potatoes and onion rings were delicious. My only complaint is that there was very little cabbage. Other than that...I'll be back and ordering 2 so that I can eat some the next day ?Wheelchair accessibility: Has ramp into restaurant/bar.“
“the dude with the red beard is actually phenomenal; he is my favorite bar tender and gives lovely service always one up for conversation, this bartender never lets down. love this place. honestly a great time. i'm one to yelp when things go very poorly, however the Dubliner and this particular bartender deserved an outstanding yelp review.“
“Went for St. Patrick's last year. No frills except for the folks that work there. Cold Guinness, plenty of the uisce beatha and smiles from the employees.I arranged my 2024 trip so I could be there on Sunday, 3/17. Enjoy the area, enjoy your time & be conscientious with the folks in this great watering hole. You're new bff will likely be standing next to you ?“
“Walking into O'Brien's Irish Pub for the first time feels like finding a piece of Ireland in your neighborhood. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make you feel right at home. You're eager to try the traditional Irish dishes and drinks on the menu, excited for the new experience. With live music setting the mood, your first visit to O'Brien's is sure to be a memorable one.“
“The food was meh. The quesadilla with added chicken was the highlight everything else was mid. Curd batter was not goood. Chicken wings was like on steroids them wings were wayy too big and did not taste right. Bartender tall long hair girl was great. Fairly small inside. Lots of screens for sports. Overall 3.5“
“James Joyce hands down is the best pub in Tampa. It's a given that the food and service is great and I'm sure that would be a takeaway for anyone reading these other reviews. It's the JJ staff that requires a standing ovation. I've never met such personable, caring, funny & fun staff at any establishment I've ever been and this has turned me into a regular. The perks of being a regular such as the drinking team, the punch cards, and rewards points are great. Nick, Chris, Cady, Sadie, Izzy, Rene, Danny, Justin, Captain Kirk, the kitchen staff, as well as others I may be forgetting are all great people and this place sure knows how to pick their staff so much so this pub is like a family and the owners are great people as well. James Joyce has the best Guinness I've had, the best wings & other dishes, as well as phenomenal entertainment. I would highly suggest stopping in on a Monday or Friday evening to grab dinner, a drink or 5, & listening to Captain Kirk the live entertainment. Don't hesitate to try some of the best wings you'll ever have, a reuben, prime rib sandwich, etc. one of the 50 beers on tap, a great selection of liquors, perfectly poured mixed drinks, and an atmosphere to keep you coming back I promise you wont be disappointed“
